Just finished my anesthesia elective, one more rotation in 3rd year left! Honestly, mixed reviews from my end that exposed some of the more systemic issues of the field and its relationship to medical students. I definitely learned a ton about the operating room work flow and how to serve as an essential member of the team. One thing is for sure, I completely understand why so many people love this field.
