He cares not for all of the people whatsoever. He has unsatisfactory interpersonal skills, loves only people who praise him, and is interested in only the financially rich people who gleefully voted for him. Otherwise, I cannot find a trace of compassion in that man. He lacks the love of Jesus Christ in his heart. Donald Trump needs to recognize his need to be born again urgently before it is too late.

It's sad but everyone has felt these restrictions. I'm a white funeral director and I see all races and religions have been affected. There is nothing that can be done we must still protect our communities. And the government has challenged our industry to follow strict guidelines.

Traditionally and historically black people have had funerals that are very involved spiritually and the funeral or home going service is part of the fabric of black culture. Covid has impacted the black population much higher than others and not being able to send off their loved ones is especially painful ,and ,that is what this is about. may55 I beg to differ I think all races have felt the sting of not being able to say goodbye to their loveone. At our funeral home we could not even have friends and neighbors at the beginning of the shutdown. There was no malice or nastiness being thrown to the black community. As usual everything is made racial when it shouldn't be. I was given a professional observation.

@@may5588 He said he understands, but, not being able to have a proper funeral has affected EVERYONE. Let's not think these restrictions are only for our community. Thankfully this man had Ms Pam and other's to mourn him. Think about those who've died alone in dying and alone in burial or cremation - no on there at all. Yes, people of color have been hit super hard, but, that doesn't negate the deaths of others. And as he said, his comment was based on professional observation, period.

Uhhh no everyone hasn’t. There’s this thing called rules for thee but not for me. They don’t even hide it on tv as they stand in close proximity with no masks while telling us what we better do to stop this alleged v. They can do that because of gullible people like you. They are still having parties and traveling, visiting their family members- this also has nothing to do with black or white. My aunt and uncle didn’t even have a decent funeral for my cousin because they were scared of boogeyman v! so 🛑 just 🛑 !!!!

Each and every individual that passed during the pandemic was important, including family and friends. There’s absolutely no barriers when it comes to death and loss of a loved one. I have lost six family members to this virus. I've lost my stepmom, aunt, uncle, and three cousins. We couldn't leave our cars for the graveside service. Then we had to burn everything that they owned because of this virus. Its definitely a hard pill to swallow because you give them a proper goodbye.

I'd say both. There is no excuse for this. Pandemic or not. To deny a family member to grieve at a loved one's funeral is beyond words. Had they tried that at my mother's funeral there's no telling what I'd do. That poor woman denied to grieve for her fiancee is beyond words...

Same here. We had a graveside service for my mom. It was that, allowing 50 people, or the church, 15 people. It's the most devastating thing.

Wow! I’m so sorry for this sistas lost! I just laid my mom to rest last month. She was the “Baby” outta all her siblings! And the fact that my extended family had to watch the service from their phones or computers really hurt! There was so many people that loved my mom! But only 30 people was able to attend in person!

I recently buried my mother who died from Covid. It is true that cremation and subsequent burial and immediate family only at the graveside service is sad. You are left feeling as if the deceased deserved more which adds to the mourning.

My Mother passed April 24 th 2020 at 1am from this horrible virus, we had a viewing only 10 people then the next day was a grave side service so I truly understand May GOD Keep Us All In HIS LOVING HANDS ❤️ GOD Bless All Their Souls CARES ALL PASSED HOME AT LAST FOREVER TO REJOICE THEY ARE ALL AT PEACE 🕊️🕊️🕊️

This is so true. The fact that people have not been able to have the funerals that they wanted to have for their deceased loved ones due to this pandemic is going to have a major negative impact on their mental health. When you can’t get closure to a traumatic experience, it keeps bothering you and doing damage that can not be repaired. Let us pray that this pandemic shall be over soon for everyone’s sake. Every single day, I have found something to cry about this year. No more pain, God. Please?

My grandpa died of covid. We had to get him cremated and it took weeks because there were so many before him. We had the funeral outside of immediate family only. I hate this year!

This is sad but I have noticed that bodies are not wrapped, you allow viewing, the coffin is not wrapped. In SA we do not allow that.only one family member confirms that this is a member of the family.

Actually EVERYBODY has been impacted disproportionately from Covid-19, not just so-called Black and Hispanics People.. However, in spite of the many many continued deaths, creamations, and funerals, the "Tender, Loving, Care" ❤ Funeral Industry have NOT reduced it's enormous prices even by $.1 cent!!! 🐸 A "normal" Funeral can still cost over $10,000.00 PER BODY!!!

This is sad. I too am originally from Philly. Lost my oldest uncle to this virus back on April of this year. I wanted to fly back home because I lived out of state, but my family just wanted us to stay put because of this virus. Watching the news they say Trump knew about this virus because it hit. And there is another wave that coming thru soon. Even if the dust settles, and we can get a vaccine that will work a couple of years from now, the damage has been done.
