The Harare International Airport extension project is now complete and here is a tour of the new terminals. #harareairport #harareinternational airport #zimbospirited
This is good foreign policy by China. These infrastructure projects could have been done so long ago when they were under the influence of European and western powers 50 to 70 years ago. But, it never did and took the rise of China to come in and do what is really profitable, politically correct, and sustainable for the people who live there.
What is most interesting is that local people have acquired proper advanced technical knowledge in many fields and constitute a valuable asset for further national develoment. Zimbabwe seeks a better future.
Congratulations, it's beautiful. Now let's work on getting more people employed so that many citizens can afford to fly and use these great facilities.
I will miss the old balcony where we used to sit and watch planes takeoff and taxi and seeing that big AGS building blocking the views sometimes, and this is an amazing development, wow!
During the time when Zim was slapped with illegal sanctions it went into a comma or better put went out of circulation. Now that the sanctions have been lifted, the country has made a comeback with a vengeance. I have no doubt in my mind that it is going to overtake those African countries which never experienced sanctions, the reason being the beauty of the country, the resilience of Zimbabweans, their hospitable hardworking people who have been undergoing training indirectly during those hard time how to save & live effectively at the same, the cheap, surplus labour & the abundance of resources the country has not to mention good governance.
Work in progress and room for improvement. At the moment wr are crammed in one room filling up forms for baggage that has not arrived. Office cubicles could do, 5 or 6
“The funding came from China”. So Zim loaned money from China (I suspect China was the one that offered the loan) so the airport can be extended for increased traffic (majority from China) to Zimbabwe in the near future. Chinese workers will be flying in just like the Portuguese and the British did not too long ago. One thing in common between the Portuguese and the British is colonization.Colonization is a side effect of capitalism. Zvinotanga zviri zvebusiness…asi mukazoona maakupihwa nekuoffwer maloan then arikundipa Mari kasi pane zvaarikuda here zvandisirikuona nekuti ndaoffwa mazimari samare?
Who said? Always blaming Britain meanwhile UK has done alot for/with Zimbabwe in the past and present. Utter nonsense thinking UK is against Zim. Uk is against dictatorship, corruption and anti democratic processes which is the correct way of thinking.
Ndongofarira zvangu kuti inonzi Robert Mugabe airport, ini ndozoidadza zvangu kuti Robert Mugabe junior airport, This Mnangagwa was sabotaging baba Chatunga now he is trying to prove that it’s doable. God will punish ED watch the space.
I really hate the fact that this money had to be loaned to build this Airport, and also the fact that they only still have one active runway. Would have been nice to have built at least 2 more active runways. Africa lets pay our way and not be indebted to anyone, including the Chinese.
National airline.. probably has about 3 barely. But privatet sector has more and growing. In southern africa its better to have private because corrupt governments loot state parastatals. Look whats happened even to SAA airline... also in decline. Sad but true.
@@Mazigaro Damn!!! that's savage! lol But you are right..i mean, we can do better! but zimbabwe is just like dofo muclass, rikagona kuti one plus one, tongowombera you know coz ratombogonawo, it could be worse lol..
Nonsense ...are Zimbabwe engineers the architects and engineers who thought through the whole project ? .obviously not ..so whats there to celebrate, when a foreign country is spoon feeding the development....Zim needs a mandatory new highly technological vocational education system that will produce mass engineers and skilled technicians that will manufacture its own machinery in agriculture ,mining, construction..not this political nonsense
