Love this video because no one seems to break this album down but it’s amazing. I love love love how this album like you said blends genres together, specifically on “she lives in my lap” it’s a kind of weird soul/R&B song with some Prince influence then at the end u get these amazing scratches from classic gangster rap songs. just an amazing album.

Although I don’t absolutely love this album the same way I do with their earlier works due to there being too much filler and some songs that don’t hold up today imo, I really love this albums for its variety and mainstream success that had rarely been achieved by a hip hop act up to that point. That said this album is quite special despite its flaws and it’s a shame we haven’t gotten any new projects from Andre or Outkast as a whole since 2006 as I would kill for one

The genius of this album cannot be summed up easily. It's just genius pure and simple. It's still my favorite album of all time after all these years for a reason.

I will never forget this album when it first came out. It has so many classic stand alone bangers but yet in between many deep thoughtful moments. It's such a tight album yet really disjointed in the best possible way. Funnily enough I overlooked Speakerboxxxx at the time as this album captured me. It took me a few years to appreciate Speakerboxxx fully. I couldn't appreciate Spbox because LoveBelow was so attention seeking! But Spbox was also disjointedly wonderful in its own way yet with a more standard hip hop take doing hip hop in a positive and funky new way. Spbox holds some mind-blowing tracks like Flip Flop Rock, Reset, and Knowing. I feel like this was the last genuine hip hop album of the era. Almost like nothing in hip hop could top this eclectic vibe which said and did so much in one long album.

I loved Happy Valentine's Day on first listen. And Dracula's Wedding, and Roses. Now I love Prototype, and Pink & Blue. But each listen I fall in love with a different song.

Possibly my favorite album of all time, and there are a lot of amazing albums in my collection. It's really absolutely perfect and so very different from everything else outkast made. Love Below will always hold a special place in my heart, Draculas wedding is my favorite song off the album I just wish it was longer, but they are all 10/10. I'm a huge outkast fan and man did they knock it out the park with the love below & speaker box. On a side note Speakerbox is and will forever be my way of testing any new sound system of a car before I buy it. It's actually the first of three albums I play to test sound systems along with Paul Wall - The People's Champ and Lil Wyte - Doubt Me Now. Plus two other single songs off other albums specifically the song "Bass Check" by Lil Wyte & 3 6 Mafia and "Stash Pot" by Koopsta Knicca .
