I am anaemic alot too- totally recommend getting an iron infusion over taking tablets especially if you have stomach issues!

My cat Max was diabetic and I had to give him 2shots of insulin a day plus special cat food from the vet. He lived to be 13 and was diabetic for 7.5 of those years.

Sorry to hear you and Nelly are having health issues 😢 Have you ever had an iron infusion before? I had one when pregnant and it was the best thing I could have done. It made a huugggeee difference in my energy levels.

Have you looked into Ehlers Danlos Syndrome? It causes a lot of problems you’ve had and can cause slow healing, so they may do different treatment. I had very different reasons for having a complete blockage but they placed an ng feeding tube for a couple months for me. I feel like eating is causing your healing to slow down but a short term tube might allow it fully heal? I’m sorry if this wasn’t helpful I hope you are feeling better soon and get some lasting results! Keep taking care of yourself, being chronically ill is a roller coaster of grief and acceptance. You’re not alone!

Omg that so weird about Nellie. My cat didn't eat for 2 days, she's ignored me... I booked her an appointment and she perked up. She had a chipped tooth, but as she's eating now as normal, they're leaving it as the nerve isn't exposed... hope you are both now doing really well x

An endoscopy isn’t always under sedation, I had one and I chose just throat numbing spray because I’d never been sedated and was too worried, so I was fully aware of what was happening and it was torture!😳 Sending well wishes to you both ☺️

Missed seeing you on my timeline but really hoping you are doing ok and taking rest! I've been watching you since the beginning of your channel (I even followed you on ig beforehand lol) and have also has a gastric sleeve surgery, skin removal surgeries + more. I also am from/live in Brighton so have always really related to you and feel like ive lived through a similar timeline. I am so astounded every time you talk about your struggles and what you've been through in the last few years, I also struggle a lot with depression and I hope you know how incredibly strong and resilient you are, I cannot fathom the effect this all has had on you. I had an endoscopy and the sedation didn’t work and it wasn’t that painful it was just uncomfortable if anyone is worried about having one, I hope you’re okay and managed to eat something more today.Bless little Nelson I hope he’s okay❤

They always do it without sedation in my country because it's not worth the risks of getting sedation all the time. I have to do endoscopy every year without sedation and it's absolutely normal. Not painful, yes uncomfortable but procedure is so fast and short. I brush my teeth for longer time then they do an endoscopy 😂

Well maybe in England you get sedation but in wales you get laid on a bed and then the do the endoscopy Ive never had numbing or sedation

What happened with Nellie's neck? I assume something with his procedure, but I haven't seen that when my cats go to the vet for teeth or otherwise... usually it's just a shaved arm, so I am curious.. forgive me. I hope both you and Nellie get better asap! 🩷❤️ I have a similar issue as you, I too have a stricture but in my gastric system caused by crohns flares, which had caused a blockage. I also went to the hospital twice for a dilation procedure, July and August..... idk if it has fixed anything or not tbh 😕 *sigh
