This place is a Tom Ford smoking jacket being a home. Just spectacular. Loving every detail. the stone is on another level. Bravo . Thank you Lucy. Love from Canada
Wow, the architecture, layout and execution is amazing. Dark moody and all so modern! The lighting, furniture, decor is the next level.Really suit our Melbourne style. Well done Melbourne artisans! The stonework is the bomb! Hello ticket I’m in.
Fabulous home, I can definitely see why you love this one. The lights and darks really play well with the plentiful sun light in your region of the world.
Okay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the kislux book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
Gorgeous GORGEOUS absolutely GORGEOUS. I love EVERYTHING about this house from the two sunken lounges, to the burned black cladding. That nightclub-like powder room is so stunning. 🎉🎉🎉
The house is exquisite., it's for a family that loves to entertain. unfortunately I can't apply for the lottery. Thank You for this tour Lucy, Missed the sit down sessions. Good work!
Ohhh m goodness, I have had in my imagination a house like this. Smaller, not quite tiny but like this. LOVE IT!! Thanks both of you for the presentation. Great work.
Stunning, love the touch of dramatic black, burgundy, amongst the light. But in the day of robot cleaners, step-up, step-down floors and sunken areas need to end.
@@Huntingforgeorge we had one years ago and it was a godsend when my kids were little. Then we lived in a property with architectural step up and step down levels for 8 years - end of our robot vacuum years. Now we’re back in a level floor again for our next property and currently looking for our next robot vacuum/mop combo
Hello! Of course. It is charred timber, also known as Shou-Sugi-Ban. A Japanese method of charring timber that aims to preserve the timber for long term use. This cladding was from Eco Timber, more product info here: www.ecotimbergroup.com.au/external-charred-timber-cladding/
I wish the sunken lounge wasn’t terrazzo and didn’t have the carpet square built in. I would redo the flooring in that area. Also the square tiles on the wall in the bathroom and laundry…..they just look really cheap. I really like the wood tone of the flooring and the floor plan. I would swap out all the dark curtains….again… they look cheap.
Hi dear Lucy your explanation is just the number 1 👌👍🙏 touching my heart i am feeling this is my turn i am going to win this home I am feeling now thank you thank you thank you for every things I love it 🥰 ❤
I love the your presentation that has grown. I can easily image myself here and, Indulging cooking my own steak, with a bottle of champagne. Nicely done.
Lucy, are you aware of how brilliant your 'Let us in' home tours are? I hope you are because you do such a great job! And I agree that this is the best home so far!
Genuine question: Is it a good thing to have the house a step down from the street? I've noticed the past few RMH houses have a step down. I thought higher than street level is good, so water flows away from the structure? Would love to know. Thanks!
Need more light to bright the house enough, add more color accents to see it clearly enough on specific areas that will need a special attention. It is easy to spot things that can be fixed whether it is worth enough to take on more renos..
Very nice home unfortunately the property tax/land tax on this house will be quite high. I don't know how any past winners could live in their homes unless they're already millionaires to begin with.
Not keen on the dark features. The powder room is fine, very dark and moody but how often are you in there?...as for the other areas, just too moody for my liking. Melbourne's also not the sunniest place half the year. Natural light can only do so much. Really, I'm just not a fan of these big prize homes worth $5m with only having $50k in gold. I'd rather a $3m house and $2m in gold instead. I know, you could sell it but still. Getting a bit ahead of myself here, but if you won the place and didn't live in it, and assuming it's 'worth' $4m, land tax is $58k per year. 😱
A modern-day Addams Family mansion. A family of goths would love it. That black wooden cladding is hideous, and the interior isn’t much better. Too dark, depressing and creepy. The only brightness, colour and expression of joy is that beautiful painting in the living area next to the fireplace.
Wouldn't we all love to receive the phone call on this one? I see myself in it but I've been doing this for years. May be one day ill get the call. What a great sized home. Very very comfy and YES it wouldn't date to quickly with it being in the Melbourne vibe. LET US IN ! ☯🕉✡✝☮LESS DO IT! 🏁
