I forgot how big the RMH houses were!! It’s just amazing 🤩 Would have been hard to say goodbye to it after that year passed but they did. So lucky for them, hopefully it has set them up for a great life!🎉
I got sucked into buying the lottery ticket! The house is nice no doubt but I personally loath such massive butlers pantries - like why, WHY would you cut yourself off from the main space. And if I win, I’ll renovate the front to be a little bedroom 🙂oh & will certainly invite Lucy for a BBQ 😉
Not my favourite house RMH have offered but would obviously be amazing to win. A few thoughts. The brick facade reminds of a factory with it's blocky, hard edges. I'd make the study a multi-purpose room or guest bedroom since theres a shower in the bathroom next door - very handy. I don't think the metal handrail suits the house. The island bench needs some overhang so you can have some bar stools around it. There's certainly enough space for it. At the moment, the back of it almost looks unfinished - like the back of some ikea wardrobe. Whilst I love the space the kitchen has, they should have put an oven in the scullery. I highly doubt you'd ever be 'cooking' anything in that scullery and using all that bench space without having to use an oven or stove. Not particularly convenient. I like the outdoor space although I'm always a fan of having a bit of lawn for pets, veggie garden, fruit trees or just somewhere for the kids to play so it's a shame it lacks that. Even though the house faces north, the local topography is quite undulated with the house next door being elevated. As a result, it looks like there's a narrow angle for which the sun to come through (from the virtual tour anyway, which can be a bit deceiving). Maybe it's a good thing - low angle in winter with max sun coming through but in summer, the sun's angle is much higher resulting in much less direct sunlight. i wonder how much direct sunlight would come through the south windows above the dining area in late afternoon/evening in summer? In any case, I think I would have liked to have seen some blinds or sheers like upstairs so you're not completely blinded. Maybe even automatic ones or those remote controlled external blinds (like ziptrak, not sponsored haha) along the perimeter of the ceiling above the outdoor seating area. On the whole, downstairs looks like a great entertaining area with lots of different spaces around the place. I don't have much to say about upstairs. It's pretty standard in a good sort of way. I do like how the rooms are all ensuited - adds potential if you didn't want to live in it or sell. The master ensuite is a bit too moody for my liking. I think I like my bathrooms to be light and bright although maybe I could get used to it. I'd like to find out lol. Anyway, they're my thoughts on the place. Thanks for the walkthrough tour and good luck to all those that enter.
I agree!! It's a great house but I really hope the future houses have more backyard space. It's rare these days so would love that for families with kids :)
Whoever thought that brown, cream, etc can go with grey/charcoal🤔 Gorgeous home but really cold looking in bathroom and very much motel-ly. Wouldnt complain if i won nthough😉😀
Hi, i am a big fan of you and required a small favour from you having a land area of 40x70 ft and i need to build one villa in it with the swimming pool and garden area please help me with any of the design which you have visited so far please
You did not say anything about the light of the sun, you did not say anything about the natural cross air. Nothing negative about this house, this must be God´s home !!
Do you have to pay taxes on a lottery win like this? Does this mansion come with 10 years worth of property tax checks or is this price only for rich people
There's too much rotation with the gimbal guys, when viewed full screen on a monitor, its a little dizzying. Please go back to the previous shooting/editing style.
,,,HEY THERE, I HOPE TO WIN SUCH A BEAUTIFUL & LUXURIOUS HOME, HOWEVER, I THANK YOU FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY, WHILE I'M WAITING FOR AN ANSWER, I WISH TO YOU A GREAT DAY...A+
Unless you have a live in maid, laundry room downstairs next to the kitchen isn't a good idea because you will need to carry down and up Everytime you do laundry. Also you will need to carry your Granny up n down everywhere due to stairs. Great house to show off but sucks to live in as a family.
This house is standard construction: tell-tale baseboards and wood trim around doors. Not a bad building, but it misses in terms of key criteria of true architecture. Another house in Sydney featured in this series showed far more sophisticated design. It was designed by Marston Architects: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Bi8jmLk-7qA.html The details of that second home are far more elegant.
I stopped watching at 4 minutes because I really couldn’t see anything. First, everything was so rushed. There was no time to appreciate the details, which I’m sure there must be in an architecturally designed house like this. At one point the lady mentioned the high ceilings but the camera was on her the whole time. The music was also annoying, but that’s on me I guess. Secondly, for a house with so much natural light, it seemed dark in some areas (it might be the camera, again). The lady is talking about the details in the kitchen but the camera is showing a wall in the living room. Weird. Might consider a different camera person. I’m sure the house is beautiful, but I was getting dizzy with the music and the camera angles and zooming shots. Whoever shot this house really did it a disservice in my opinion. Presentation could’ve been better executed.
