The director of an engineering company in a small town near London has been murdered by a perfect stranger. Inspector Alan Milton (Gerald Harper) is put in charge of the case. He is the former fiancé of Carol Vyner (Jennifer Daniel), the victim's secretary. She is now about to marry Harry Brent (Edward Brayshaw), a mysterious figure with a connection to the murder suspect...

Great ending. Did not disappoint. It’s amazing img how much they packed into each 30 minutes compared to today. So wonderful to see many of these faces again.

Nope - still baffled….. Got the bit about an apparatus being created of value to others, but who’s who - well, still no clue. Now I can watch ‘Hadleigh’ again - I can follow that!
