Me and one of my cousins. We're both girls and she's only 3 months older than me, so we were always being forced to play together even though we literally had no common interests. Either we were royally bored or we were arguing. We would have been civilly indifferent to each other if the adults hadn't decided to force us to be "best friends", but because of them we ended up not being able to stand each other. It's not even that we were antagonistic towards each other, that we hated each other, or that one of us had started the war, it's just that we were fed up. Neither of us were to blame and we both knew it. When the adults finally gave up, we became civil and polite on the rare occasions we interacted together and the three words we exchanged contained no animosity. It's been years since we've heard from each other, I have no idea what she's doing today and it doesn't interest me. Probably the same on her side. Sometimes you just shouldn't force two people to interact.
