Every once in a while, I come back here and it’s such a happy place for me. 6 years have passed already and I no longer play the piano but the music stays in my heart, and so does this medley… and a few others too❤
I dig for this video every few months . I have come back over and over for years to watch you play. Your choices in arrangement and watching you slow the music flow through you puts me at peace. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!
Damn!! I can't get enough of watching her play. She's so gorgeous and gracious the way she plays the piano. Idk, I've been watching this particular video almost every other day. This is my favorite video from her uploads for sure!
You have all my respect. Those pieces are parts of my personal journey, my youth, my life, my whole existence. Listening to you playing them sent shivers down my spine, not because of the vivd memories, but because of the love I can feel you poured into your execution, your performance. Keep playing. Always.
Dearly Beloved is a song I used to listen to when I feel sad, but couldn't express it properly during my depression. It is amazing house music can capture a feeling, though I am sure different people may feel differently.
Ahhhhhh, I have to say, I enjoyed listening to this from start to finish! It was beautiful! Just a heads up, though, the sound and the video weren't exactly at sync in some parts :0 Again, beautiful performance Caliko! Merry (late) Christmas and happy 2018 to anyone reading this!
I'm glad you enjoyed the sound at least! And yes I know it's out of sync at the beginning (it goes into sync about halfway through) but it's something I can't avoid with long recordings for some reason :/ I'll work on it next time I do a longer video!
No había escuchado esta canción pero es muy hermosa y tu manera de tocar la canción me trasmite mucha tristeza, sin duda alguna es una obra de arte, Termine llorando.
I discovered your channel yesterday ,your ori and the blind forest song appeared in recommended when i was watching a cover from my favourist pianist akmigone. And This two days i spend hours listening your music, especially your undertale covers . Keep uploading your videos pls :D. PD Sorry for me english ,i am spanish. PD2 i also like kylelandry, theishter, and Animenz but Akmigone is my favourite
Love your arrangement of interstellar not to easy but not to hard but it was amazing how nice is that your sister getting you tea while your playing does she know how famous you are
God, I love this medley.. and by the way playing Time twice is NOT enough ;) At least I can rewatch your Inception video :D Oh and nice christmas tree!
Thank you! And in that case I can assure you Time will make it's appearance on this channel again, I play it so often I'll probably record it one of these days~
You're playing by ear and making this up as you go along??? Sweet! Someone who plays like I do, only better. You're far more skilled. Wonderfully done.
Oh god... Oh godness... oh why... i klik this song... and wow... first song it's my beloved song at first this game release T_T oh no... this make my poem upgrade again... thank you..
Man youre so lucky to have a grand piano. I really want to play on a Steinway/Busendorfer grand. Like ive never played on one. Beautiful touch tho youre hours and years of practice are visible
What is that sound !!! It's in my kitchen !??... WHAT ? No ? Nothing .... Hummm... Haahumm it's in the video ! Shhit xD You have a great microphone ^_^ Great medley by the way, that's really beautifull, played perfectly
Hello! Your amazing piano playing made me fall in love with the first piece, Dearly Beloved from Kingdom Hearts. It's probably way too difficult for my level, but do you mind sharing where you got the piano sheet?
I didn't use a piano sheet, this was improvised! I'm sure you can find some basic piano sheets for Dearly Beloved itself, there are many, many arrangements of it out there
may I ask how often do you tune your piano? It sounds so nice and you play it so well. Also, I would be interested to know which bosendorfer model is that, which length. Thank you and awesome playing as usual :)
Caliko do you find it enough to fill all the space that you have there? The sound is amazing for that size. I am curious if you could also share the manufacture year. Looking forward to hearing more and more from your playing :)
@@Caliko Nice! Do you find that pianos with only 160 cm length lack in bass considering just a regular home? Or is the sound not big enough to fill up the room? Thank you very much for your time :)
Good thing you @'d me this time, I usually don't get notified of replies! I find 160cm absolutely a suffient length, the sound travels very well. Though that might also be because my home has a lot of open space downstairs.
My mom is a piano teacher and I want to start playing again, I stopped playing 4 years ago when I was 12. You're an amazing player and I wanted to know if you have any suggestions of sheet music an intermediate player who likes your covers would enjoy!
You're in a very similar situation as I was! I stopped playing when I was 12 too and picked it up 3 years later. My big comback to playing back then was Sebastian Wolff's arrangement of Forbidden Friendship - it was a bit of a challenge, but good excersise, then Kyle Landry's arrangement of Passion. You could look up some pieces from the Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy piano collections, there's a lot of intermediate pieces there like To Zanarkand and Dearly Beloved (I personally also liked Cloud's Theme and Aerith's theme but those are a bit tricky). You can also look for some easy sheet music for Hans Zimmer's Time and the Interstellar Theme, and once you can play the basics look for more advanced arrangements (same with Dearly Beloved and other popular melodies like that). Good luck!
Hey Caliko Merry Christmas! I really enjoyed this video :). I've been thinking of getting a digital piano for my dorm in college... do you happen to own one or have any suggestions? I hope you have a happy new year as well thanks again for playing!
Thanks and a late Happy Holidays to you too! I've had a Yamaha P-115 and liked it a lot, I suggest looking through some Yamaha models in general, they're usually great!
Ah this was very, very improvised so no sheets for how I played it, sorry! There's definitely plenty of sheet music for other arrangements of all those pieces though if you search for them
Computer programs exist which would analyze this and spit out the notes in some semblance of sheet music, but you'd have to do some tweaking to make it look right.
I would be perfectly okay if you just yeeted me to another dimension where only us and your piano exists and proceeded to play only Hans Zimmer music to me for the rest of our lives. This would be an acceptable way to die
@@Caliko Ah! I hadn't guessed it, but I'm not surprised. It seem that Poland will be the last place on earth where talented musicians under 70 years old will be findable in a few years. Poland has so many remarkable youth orchestras and youth performers for such a small country, it's quite astonishing. Since you are willing to engage in discussion with a random commenter, do you agree with my assessment, and if so, why do you believe this is?
