Even though I don't understand every word.....I'm a Chris Rea fan since 1990 and very happy to see this interview. Love his music and his voice. Greetings from Germany
A wonderful clip. One of the reasons I admire Chris Rea is because he is nothing like sting.... I've been a fan for many years, his albums are never far from my turntable. Also a fan of his race driving and cars. Thanks for the wonderful music which has forged so many happy and great memories in mine and many other peoples lives. Keep fighting on Sir.
Merry christmas and best wishes from Germany. Thank you for sending this video with Chris. I have not heard anything about him for a long time. He was so popular here and as a real fan (since 1978 with fool if you think it's over) I am glad to see him smile. He has to struggle a lot. May he be in acceptable shape.
Chris Rea is one of does great singers that get passed by i remember fool if you think its over when i was young, and never bothered to find out who sang it but i loved the song also some of his other songs i now know the man behind the voice i love coming home for Christmas i am 67 now and its the first time i ever heard it love the mans voice hope he becomes popular again now. he deserves more credit than he got .
That's made my day. seeing Chris - a local hero of mine chatting to Bob a new hero. Talking about life and stuff. I could watch them chat on all day. Maybe Chris could pick up the guitar and blast out some of his great music. Oh and Paul is a great guy too, for a southerner lol. Stay strong and healthy guys.
Chris Rea's Driving Home For Christmas has been my favourite Christmas song for years. We always used to play that at the end of our last market (selling cheeses) before Christmas with both my sons. So it brings me great joy and always brings a few tears as well. You can never hear enough Chris Rea. He is the best.
indeed, so underrated. Texas is one of my favourite tracks of all time. It totally sums up that feeling of being stuck in the rat race and wanting to escape to wide open country somewhere.
Met Chris in a pub in Boro quite a few years ago..what a straight up down to earth guy..bought him a pint had a really good fella.. Top bloke..great guitarist..
Chris Rea…. “Driving home for Christmas” will be playing for generations…. For the next 1,000’s years! Funny how so many wonderful songs have been written during great adversity and tragedy! Thanks Chris! Merry Christmas! 😎
I saw Chris on his last tour at the Manchester Apollo,he was fantastic,he fell ill at a later gig and it was cancelled, bless him glad he is still around his music has got everything!
Lucky enough to have a brief chat with Chris at the Silverstone Classic car event a few years back, what a thoroughly nice fella, it was a chat I’ll never forget with one of my musical favourites. Seasons greetings to you all and a happy and prosperous 2023 👏👍😀
