I’m so glad that I didn’t run into hikers going down big rock… there were three places I walked but it would have been worse coming up on hikers! It’s an awesome trail 😎
5 to 6 hours is far enough that it isn't out of the ordinary to not have ridden it. I know people that think a 30 minute drive is too far. 4 hours is our usual cutoff for day trips. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it. Try Burnt Mountain Trail there too. That one is super chunky and fun. 😁👍
Very cool trail. Definitely some chop to it. Are those giant slabs of granite they created a trail on ? Definitely seems like a destination ride. Very different terrain than southern Michigan trails
Crazy to see you guys still have wet trails. Here in San Diego, we are at an Extreme Drought level right now. That rim strike = ouch. I love the "Bye internet peeps" at the end lol.
The footage is actually from early March, but we're still getting some rain here in the east side of the country. It rained this past weekend when we were at Windrock, and again here in Michigan for the past couple days. I hope you guys get some rain soon. 😊
Nice job and looks like fun with some decent drops and challenges, they don't look as drastic on video as when you're riding them but still looks treacherous in some areas. l have to look that area up if i buy another bike. The more i look at the Spectral 9.0 for 6 grand the better deal i think it is compared to say a new RM Instinct or Altitude as they are 9 grand with carbon wheels and all the higher end builds are gone and the Spectral is improved from front to back.
9:26 You should get a fidlock water bottle, it's magnetic and I've put it through a few crashes and gnarly trails and it has stayed on. Just make sure to get the correct bottle size.
I actually have a fidlock on my bike. Cory's using a "Canyon Eject" water bottle system with 2 little bottles side by side. Nothing else fits in her extra small frame, so it's the best option. A bolt just came loose and fell out, so it wasn't the bottles that were coming off(not that they ever would). The Canyon cage is just as secure as fidlock. The bottles never fall out.
