Brisbane is a copy pasta Minotaur that sails under a Commonwealth flag in World of Warships legends at legendary tier. Unlike Minotaur, she has HE shells and no smoke screen. She does however have a beefed up torpedo armament with 20 long range torpedoes that can be single fired. This ship is available for admiralty backing in this updates campaign. @@j.pershing2197 unsure but not anytime soon....seems hard to implement with only 9v9. Plus there are only so many controls yoi can pit in a controller (depth charges, ASW strikes, etc)

Another well done video. Though with the start I thought of the fosters commercials, australian for beer. I certainly got a good laugh for it. THANK YOU for the 4:00 mark stating what so many of us are frustrated with, the shite teammates that we have to rely on. LT is some of the worst. Its driving me away from the game more and more again and I know tons who have left. The 8:40 mark also is spot on and made for another good laugh. It added to the video and glad im not alone in it. At least in a division we get to share the misery and agony lol.

One thing to keep in mind is thus ship can be citadeled from every angle as you have a huge citadel and paper armor.

Just completed the campaign, but haven't yet completed a Bureau project for a ship, so this is my FIRST ever Legendary. I'll see how it goes with Mikawa and Mimbelli, and finally get to experience just how bad things are at Legendary tier. The more pressing question is with no more Ice Crowns to earn from playing, I can snag Anhalt now or drop some dubs on enough to snag Ohio. Been quite a while since I dropped any cash on dubs, might just plus up enough to buy out all 30 Double Strike bundles. Feels pricey, yeah, but it's 4 ships (including the Maerker you loved) and a ton of boosters and whatnot, plus 4500 Crowns that'd snag me Ohio (and whatever else the remaining Crowns will snag. Will re-watch your reviews of Anhalt and Ohio, but I guess if "cost" is ignored as a factor is either a clear hands down "better" ship?

I got this ship through the campaign and so far she is a bust! As you correctly stated in the video, the ship needs help from teammates and typically when I play most of my team is either behind islands or headed for the outer reaches of the map, so there is little help. The ship just melts away when being fired upon. Some of this is my fault because I am a rather agressive player and you can't be that in this ship.

I love your country too. You made Bluey and it keeps me sane as a parent as my kids love it and I can actually sit through it and laugh. Also the 60 min Australia is way better than ours here in U.S. The rare earth metal episode was great. Anyway...Australia!!!!! YEAH!!!!!

I really like Minotaur but Brisbane with HE is arguably better, I've never understood why British cruisers were blocked from HE use as we did use them. Never mind they're both fun.

@DerkaGames is there a special set of weekly missions that the become available after you unlock the Brisbane? Like last year there were weekly mission for both of the campaign ships you could choose from and they each gave winter currency as a reward? I do not believe so. Advent calender, free gift, campaign, random bundles, and crate bundles are the only way to get ice crowns that I see.

Great video. A question about the event currency, in my country we are unable to buy the event crates due to gambling laws, is there ANY other way to get those so i can get ohio? I'm a player since launch and every event i'm left out and have to watch every potato noob play with good ships while i have no acces to them..

I would of liked anhalt for campaign instead but it's better thrn nothing. It's just going to sit in my port.ill be playing mino and ohio instead. Thanks for letting us know about 30mm he pen I thought it wad only 24 or 25mm he pen it shatters so much. When u have wooster or mino it's hard to bring this out over brisbane

Derka I have to ask whats your favorite ship out of this update? I would presume Ohio since thats is what the majority of what people are happy about this update but I think the new german destoryers and french cruisers are fun and well balanced

I'm just starting to get to the German and French ships, but I do think I like the Maerker, The guns feel incredible. Ohio is the easy pick tbh, just because its so strong at everything, but to be different i think I would pick Brisbane (with a div). I love Mino, and its a fun (albeit worse) version of it! I for one am happy this ship doesnt power creep minotaur since shes my favorite LT ship but at the same time i dont think she offers much of a unique playstyle from what ive seen. LT sorely needs cap contesting cruisers which mino is actually very good at if you know what youre doing but brisbane doesnt seem to offer anything unique over mino other than he with a slower reload. I would have liked either slightly more armor or a better radar to balance the slower reload vs mino. Seems like a ship thatll sit in port since ill favor mino but happy to be proven wrong

Being Australian it’s a no brainer for me. But I get a bit angry when all these ships come out and they look great and then WG nerf the crap out of them, making them mediocre. They did it with Lepanto and they will do it with Ohio. And I bet they buff the other legendary BB to make them more competitive.

@DerkaGames maybe also give it Mino's concealment? It's literally the same ship, and no smoke is quite the trade off for this thing. At least then it'll be 'Minotaur but different' instead of 'Minotaur but worse in every way you care about'.
