Update 06.10.24..... So Wargaming has this 70% coupon going on and I was in the market for a cruiser and it boiled down to wanting a British cruiser as my number of British cruisers from Tier 4-7 are on the low side. The only premium I have is the Minotaur. I don't have the Tier 8's. Hampshire vs Neptune....this was a tough one for me. I watched videos on both ships. So....for $20.00 I chose the Hampshire. And boy oh boy am I having a ball with this damn thing. The Neptune was very tempting but I do have the Minotaur so it seemed like a very similar ship with armor made from aluminum foil... The Hampshire's armor is better so that was one selling point...it won't blow up if I sneeze between salvos. To Derka's credit, he's right about that top speed, it's not American dreadnaught slow but it ain't exactly a '69 Dodge Charger RT either...with a speed flag I can get the thing to hit well over 31 knots. The lack of a radar is missed but a lot of cruisers don't have radar so what this does is remind me to pay closer attention out there, which is a good thing. That citadel is weirdly placed but it's also weirdly short on length, which has served me well thus far. It can bounce some shells back there...can't do that in a Plymouth. The concealment is very very nice....I have it down to roughly 9.4 km's with Mikawa. (I went with Fraser 16/3, Mikawa 16/3, and Yamamoto 16/3) I think my reload starts out at roughly 8.8 seconds which is fine. And speaking of British 203's...they are amazing on the Hampshire. The accuracy is incredible. I removed a Tallinn at 14 km's in two salvos. This ship will absolutely destroy a broadside or over-angled DD....cruisers are the same story. I caused a bow-tanking Edinburgh some significant damage more than once....not sure how, not sure why, but it happened. BB's aren't safe either, the plunging fire at range is brutal, not to mention a broadside salvo. Put an epic reload mod on the Hampshire and that reload gets mighty low. Derka did say he liked the Hampshire and I'm suspecting the 10 guns (with two front guns that rotate at 360) contributed to his enjoyment. But this is not a $100 ship for 17,500 worthy....in that I can agree with him. Right now, the Hampshire is a very happy bank robbery with a 70% off coupon for a sticker price of 5,250 doubloons or $20.00 and that's what I paid for it out the door... To be perfectly honest, unless you're in need of a proven monster of a Tier 7 ship AND entering an elimination tournament (taking place at the Bellagio in Las Vegas) that's paying out thousands upon thousands of dollars to the finalists; no ship is worth 17,500 doubloons or $100.00 in my opinion. That's an obscene amount of money for just one Tier 7 ship, but that's just me. So far I've been vacationing in Citadel City with the Hampshire.
Hey Derka. After hours of gameplay with different builds (secondary build with Hipper and AL Bismarck), ans several hybrid builds i must say, these ship is not really good. It lacks and it is very inconsistent. AP is bad, secondarys pins nothing, even with Bismarck. So why i should take this ship when i have e Ruprecht in my port. He is better, on every stage!
I guess there is always a new batch of Shima bureau players coming through, all ready and eager to start damage chasing... Thats probably the #1 reason why I dislike seeing them on my team, much like Yamatos and smoke Minotaurs you know what the players are going to do, and if you get more than one in the team then you're probably boned...
I just got this the other night. It was during the "buff" of the carriers and i was being stalked and pummeled by the CV on my very first outing with this DD. If the CV was going to stalk me for the whole game I am not going to last long, so I thought I would go on a suicide mission to the back of the red side and at least have a crack at the CV. I couldn't believe my luck that I made it all the way around, got to withing sonar range of the CV and popped the smoke. I managed to DAK DAK him to death and actually survived the game with a clear sky medal. I you get this game, make sure you get it with "Fries".
I've never touched legends, but have been playing the actual game for 6 years now, and even just in the intro i see a t-61 what i know to be a tier 6, and a Kidd, which i know to be a tier 8 monster gunboat, at tier 6. How much better is the t-61 or how much worse is the kidd foe these two to be even remotely closs

I'm definitely praising the researchable US Tier IV-X DDs, Tier V-X CLs, Tier V-X CAs, Tier VI & VII BBs, Tier VIII BB Kansas, Tier IX BBs Iowa and Minnesota, and Tier X CV Midway. As well as the premium Tier V CL USS Marblehead, Tier IX BBs Missouri, Wisconsin, Georgia, and Tier VIII CVs Yorktown and Hornet. All of these ships are perfect because either I've played WWs as them or with any of my teammate (s) as them. I despise yet also praise the researchable US Tier VI & VII BBs because despite their annoying top speed and maneuverability, they're actually really fun to play as.
I would personally say the Tier III-VII researchable US battleships because they're extremely slow, bad maneuverability, horrendous concealment, and God-awful torpedo protection. The researchable US Tier VI & VII BBs don't actually have the God-awful torpedo protection, it's just that their garbage top speed of 21 kts and meh maneuverability makes them really difficult to dodge torpedos. But I do enjoy using them to ram clueless enemy cruisers, destroyers, and battleships, snipe unsuspecting enemy ships at almost point-blank range, and dishing out quite a lot of citadel hits on any enemy cruiser, battleship, and carrier that doesn't even notice me. Also, I give a positive review for the ability to equip depth bombers with the researchable Tier VI & VII US battleships. I'm personally a huge favorite of the researchable Tier IV, V, & VI Italian BBs because of their good speed, maneuverability, concealment, and rather accurate aa guns.
I Got The Bundles In The Microsoft Store & Then Through The Game Store. I Got The TIER 6 JAPANESE BATTLESHIP One Out Of The Containers 😃. Next I'll Be Getting TRANSFORMERS 😃. I've All Ready Got All Of Them 😃. But I Want To Get Them Again 😃
Ragnarok is a great brawler in a tier 5/6 lobby, I like to run a full brawler build. Tier Seven brawler BBs can out brawl it though, which makes sense. I use AL Bismarck and William Simms as inspirations, Secondary's go Brrr and it is crazy how much damage you can take. I have also dished out crazy damage in a single salvo. If any one is curious, My mods are Secondary Mod. 2, Prop Mod. 2, and Concealment Mod. 1. I only have Arthas at level 11 and Legendary rank one, 93,004 is my max damage, in a standard match so far. Is the Cross of Dorn worth it if I want another Premium Cruiser and Riegerwald?
Hey Derka....I had totally fir got I had arthus the cold...I recently put him on all my BB and cruisers as captain or inspiration.. ever since...I land salvos of 25k up to my highest of 63k in one salvo. He is only level 16 n 1 legend... I wish there was to get extra of him in crates or just outright buy with gold or even global XP....he is the best...

Arthas on American BBs x AL NJ is the best damage build in the game. Especially when u get up to having 6 planes. You literally cannot use 6 spotter planes in 15 minutes anyways. 1 Ohio Citadel with +15% citadel damage, +5% over 10 km, +10% drillbits, +20% Arthas, on a Citadel that already does like 17K? Love him on AL Sov Rossiya too, with her citadel damage perk
So I’m new to WoWL as of Jan. So this and Transformers are my first chance at getting these collab Commanders and ships. Since I didn’t know anything about them, other than hearing Arthas the Cold mentioned as inspirations on other vids, I went with 8xChaos container bundle and got TWO Arthas the Colds, leaving me with a personal Commendation and no ship. I then went for a 8xImperium containers and got Lyons, but no ship. I’ll quit while ahead I guess, or maybe worth one more shot with the 8x Eternal War crate bundle? Everything getting very expensive. The Transformer packages are equally insane.
Happy with the two Commanders I got and thank you for the video and your perspectives on each ship and Commander. Very helpful to learn from. I’m trying to resist the collector urge in me to just outright buy these bundles just to have them and figure out their place later as I gain experience.
Ship Smasha's greatest strength is its short range guns, I wish there was a perk to make it shorter range. If you don't understand this we can't be WOWL friends... It is tier for tier the best gunboat in the game, there isn't a tier 6 DD gunboat that gets close to it... I have >750 games in it with 76% win rate, half of those played solo. But thank you for putting people off buying it, the fewer people that have it the better 🙂
Hi Derka, do u know anything about the free admiralty backing? I got it like 2 nights ago, some people got it aswell, while others didnt. Do u know why they gave it out for free? Was it cause if a mistake and it was therefore a compensation? Or was it just a simple mistake/glitch?
Oland is a fairly good ship at tier, but it’s on sale already. I guess with your 70% you can get it for a near giveaway. The T7 ships are a great deal if you can afford to spend the money there, otherwise each persons wants and budget will dictate a better deal. I’ve enjoyed the Oland so far and not a DD player. Others will give you a better understanding of the ship’s performance..
I don't tend to give WG much money, so that's why I was asking about Oland, since using the coupon makes it so cheap. I bought it. I'm terrible at above Ostergotland, but they're fun. So far, the guns could be better. And on more torpedo per rack, oh well
@@kyledean581 I hear you. That would be a great way to use it. It’s all earned savings and minimal out of pocket. Wish they would do more earned coupons.
Derka you should try Arthas on the Italian cruisers mainly brindisi and Venezia its so strong with the SAP shells! I run AL Zara with Arthas and Mimbelli as inspirations for some insane SAP shell damage.

What's your opinion on using Riegerwald with Graf Spee with AP penetration boost options maxed? Could it achieve a decent citadel chance against battleships but with a faster firing speed than BB guns can normally put out?
🤦♂️ deliberated over Nelson and Hood for a day, and landed on former. Then just noticed this a couple hours after buying it with my 70 percent off. 🤦♂️🤦♂️ The full price is just crazy. If they made them £5 a pop, then I’d buy a handful. Whereas their current prices are so off putting at x3 the price, to buy any. Feels like fingers burnt.
After this and the transformers reruns. I lost hope for the azur lane collab rerun being good. as they will probably do the same and bundle the commanders and ships together so that you can’t buy em individually . Meaning I will probably and simply save up for wave 6 of azur lane. Then I can simply snag a shipgirl with huge milkers for 5K
I know PC is offering the entire Azure Lane commander set in a bundle for $199.00. I’m guessing a similar bundle will be offered in Legends as well. I’m wanting this set more than the Warhammer or Transformers. More versatile and can be used as primary Commanders, not just inspirations.
