Id love to see a TRUE film series about napoleonic times. GoT style (pre season 5) and bouncing around Wellington, Ole Boney, and a few officers and soldiers. Napoleon was arrogant, but also loved his nation. As did many of those who fought. Well acted and funded could have done well.
that’d be brilliant! If it was set along the same time period as Sharpe that’d be real homage to the TV shows. Heck with CGI they’d even be able to have large battle scenes that weren’t feasible here
It’d have to be historical fiction like Sharpe, simply because Napoleon only fought in like 60ish battles iirc, and most of them weren’t as exciting as Waterloo to watch on TV
@@stillcantbesilencedevennow it does if you want the average person to watch it, creating a show for a niche of people is great, but not something you really see beyond Netflix or Amazon Prime, and those are usually barely watched and just get cancelled within a single season
If things had worked out between Sharpe and Jane, he would probably have been the leader of the local hunt. I can't imagine him wanting to walk through a host of daffodils. 😁
11:24 - "You're letting a suspected murderer look after your wife sir!?" Gotta love Harris. And it shows that these chosen men....Sharpe has total faith and trust in them, and they in turn, in him.
By Jove Sharpe I have been posted to Canada!Great luck nothing much goes on there except snowing!1812 is turning out to be such a jolly good year Sharpe! My bacon is saved Sharpe and no more Frenchies to worry about!🇬🇧🇫🇷
Wellington has his network of spies, if Brand comes to Wellington with information about a fake Magazine but none of Wellingtons spies confirm its existence it would look mighty suspicious. They could build a fake magazine, and try and convince the British its a juicy target but that would be a lot more work than using the real one as bait.
