One of the few examples where the architect’s monologue truly corresponds to what we are seeing. Artistry, softness and practicality. The inside-outside integration is a dream. A renovation that is respectful of the nearing properties yet provides unique spaces for its occupants.
His voice. Oh my. Back to the house, this is probably one of the houses that I truly like. So much vegetation. Even with a limited material palette, this house is truly an amazing edifice. 🤍🤍🤍
When I saw the house, it makes me feel calm even though I'm tired from work. Everything for me seems so paradise and relaxing. I can't even think of a beach, I mean this is enough for me.
The transformation of the property, and it's the property which is at the heart of this project, is so distinct because initially the yard seemed to wrap itself around the house. After the renovation it is the house through the extensions such as fences which is wrapped around the yard. I can imagine that the most important aspect of being a parent is to protect the ones you love . . Yes the children. With the yard being enclosed by the house the children can easily play and frolic and no harm will come to them within the house's boundaries. It's such a peaceful and useful yard. The seamless extension of the living area to the yard is wonderful since the weather allows it. It's a wonderful renovation.
I have never seen a house where I had this feeling, if I ever would win the lottery I would want to build this exact same house. In my eyes it's just perfect.
This entire video is absolute poetry! This home was so thoughtfully designed that is a work of art that functions well for modern human life while connecting those who live in it with our roots.. amazing. 🙏✨🤙🏼
Once in my life time , wanna to stay a couple office days...when we woke up, if we face the nature, birds, and sunrise, that one will be the happiest day .....waiting for that day..thx for sharing such a pleasant videos..
Damn! I love it. I live in the states and we don’t have beautiful homes built like this. Most of ours are cheaply constructed and cookie cutter homes. I wish I can have an Australian design me a home so I can have one built in the sates based on their specifications. Austrians seem to have beautiful homes that are laid back, comfortable and welcoming.
It’s like this house burrowed idea from the Chinese courtyard and elevated into stunning Queensland Australian architecture. The level of openness and interaction with vegetation is massive. Hats off to the architect.
I really enjoyed this it’s a great house well designed also loved reading the comments especially about the pool fence living in Australia we take it for granted safety first. When I was doing my nursing training in the 1980s they told us the statistics of how drownings reduced when pool fences were made law. It’s like the reduction in motor vehicle fatalities when seat belts were made law.
This house is excellent! And would also work very well in our South African climate. In what issue of Local was this published? I would very much like to read more about it.
Australian homes are homesteads .. big square box with center courtyard . Veranda top level and bottom . Sandstone walls , corrugated iron roof with bull nose finish over veranda. Traditional open fire place with sandstone chimney. Iron bark mantel and timber right throughout. Center courtyard doubles as an Avery with Gullahs and cockatoo’s. Internal veranda as well above . Thats an Australian home . What youre pedaling is a project home for first home buyers. Radiata pine with sheet rock. Hollow columns and bunnings landscaping. Common and cheap
Move over Russell Crowe! Seriously! His voice is…. Yum! 100% the best house on this channel. You’ve done an amazing home. Absolutely timeless. Well done!
Interesting home, thanks for sharing! I do feel the lot is over developed/maxed out & the poor neighbors porch w/view has been OBLITERATED, now they just see wall & roof.
the swimming pool is behind a fence... it would make sense to make the pool more visible, having a view on the waterlines, being changed by the winds...
aaah beautiful home love all the warm tones and softness, everything is perfect.Does anyone know the white wall colour as in wall paint used in this house?
I love to have this group of Architect doing my project. But unfortunately I am from Brazil and I think I don't have enough funds to pay for such an amazing piece of art. I do have a lot. It's 25meters x 40meters = 1000 sq. mt. it has a downslope towards the back of the lot. (paid in full, and 65% of the money saved for the construction) here in my city, Goiânia - Goiás - Brazil. I can only dream to have a project like that. Maybe they read this and wanna help me out, I'll be praying and maybe they'll like to embrace my dream and give me a great deal on a project.
