Nice to hear you're firming up on H&S. The troops will thank you for it later in life, even if they think it's just a nuisance now. Don't want them ending up like me, on the doorstep of 60, with knackered shoulders, back, hips, knees, ankles & wrists - hands covered in scar tissue - both carpal tunnels restricted, white-finger, and dead nerve ends. Health & safety was pretty much ignored when I was on the tools. We weren't even issued hard hats. Changed days now thankfully.

In Drainage a "mole" (manually operated launching equipment) was the name given to the wheeled sled the CCTV cameras were on. Distinguished from "Pigs" which were Polypropelene Inserted Grease Scourers ( of various types and diameters for cleaning pipe runs - supply and drain

In my country there is a chemical compound called "Mole" (Krtek), which has very vicious reaction with hot water. (Maybe it´s the same as "Pigs".)

What a brilliant idea to slate your path and yard around your drains ... NOT. Forsight was not something the owners of this property posessed. How can you possibly clean and swill this after these sorts of problems. Crazy and unhygienic.
