The amount of standard amenities in one tiny hotel bathroom in Japan, is one American full remodel WITHOUT all the cool tech gadgets! WOW! 🤩 The amount of thoughtfulness is insane! We came back and rethought our own bathrooms! 😂 Starting with bidets!

Although I usually don't like sweets, KOE donut shop is really good and when I'm in Kyoto, I drop by and get one donut, but eat half and then save the other half for later. And after KOE, if one turns to the right into the small walking street, at the end is the tabi sock and shoe store on the left. What I love most, food wise, is anything fish on a skewer and since I go to Japan during the summer, it's unagi season. And also R1F Soza in the basement food area of nearly every big mall. I go to one nearly daily and leave with a stack of containers of food as it's my favorite take-out deli. Greetings from Los Angeles

For the dimples ("cottage cheesey") look on your legs I heard a dry brush ( the one with the massage nodules on them) will help. You should use it every day before you take a shower. Though you might not really see results till after around a month.

if you ever want to check out another decently priced hotel with more focus on the luxury experience in the room vs onsen amenities, I loved nol kyoto sanjo! It’s spacious, serene, and comes with a hibachi wood bath so it kinda feels like onsen if you’re tatted and can’t go communal 😅

What kind of running are you doing? Jogging? Maybe try sprint workout. I was a sprinter HS/college. I have been lifting but the definition hasn’t return to my legs. So I’m gonna try sprinting and hope that works 🤞🏾
