Addressing that viewers observation and useless comment in the first part of this video -- and speaking as a retired military officer, AND a retired federal law enforcement officer….there’s a lot of useless “meanness” in the world. I for one,certainly appreciate your videos and information. While I’m from the southwest, I don’t think I’ll ever return to live there. (I’d be lying, if I didn’t admit to missing the “clarity” of the high desert….but continue to be concerned how climate change will impact water resources. I’m still looking for where my wife and I will finally settle. I’m looking at coastal Maine, southern NH, even western TN or western NC. Hell….I’m even considering Nova Scotia. But wherever we end up, 5:23 I’m looking at prefabs….these types of homes. So thank you again. For a value-added service!

Progress in the right direction!

I like that they reduced bells and whistles. Too many choices is stressful too. It would be nice if a company created modular housing that you could buy a completely livable base model, with options to gradually increase easily with add on packs. Like a small unit with a kitchen and a bathroom and a bedroom and a living area. And then if you want another bedroom you can buy one and have it easily attached on. Or even add ons that could expand the rooms in the main unit. Like an expansion pack. So you can buy a base one and the save up for a more advanced unit without needing to fully replace the original unit.

Can they ship the houses to your site? Coordinating the house, the site, hook ups, local laws seems overwhelming.

I'm so excited this change has happened with homes. I have wanted a tiny house for almost 20 years. We're finally in a place where we are ready to look for the whole plan. The land, the home, the loan. I want my forever home. On land, i can grow my own food. Location, u.s. the midwest.

I’m an avid watcher getting kinda’ disgruntled because I (in Louisiana) have access to maybe two percent of the homes you highlight. And I only usually find that out AFTER I stat to fall in love. Could you maybe give pricing and access from the get go? Please?

I think the only thing that I don’t like about this is that it appeared on the last floor plan as if you had to walk through the bedroom to get to the bathroom. Other than that, it’s quite nice. Good price. Cheers!

You know for the love of God, why are home prices so expensive? I purchased a house in Las Vegas, NV. Back in 2003 for $285,000 with a 5/1 arm. Lived in it for 7 years until interest rates started to tick up causing the monthly cost to go way up. I tried to renegotiate with the bank but was told sorry Charley. I even had a relative ready to by the house and I would pay them back and the bank said no. In the end I had to do a short sale. I believe that is what they wanted all along. It ruined my credit and it still haunts me today. They said I couldn’t buy a house for 5 years but that was extended to 7 years. These people are not your friends. They are out to ruin your life and take everything you have. The housing market is a scam and now with outrageous prices and high interest rates, who in the hell can afford to buy a home and use good financial common sense? That home I short sold, sold for $135,000, which I would have paid cash for if they had allowed me to. Now it’s value is $450,000 but the owner can’t sell it at that price because few can afford the $3,000 per month payment. So what is driving the housing market and their ridiculous prices (valuation) and industrial practices? I’m thinking people selling their homes in California for matchbox million dollar homes. They came into a place with reasonable prices like Las Vegas was back in the 1990’s and the builders saw them coming. So they built like crazy at higher prices than normal at the time. The Californians came in and only had to spend a fraction of what they sold their homes for and still pocketed a large chunk of their gains into the bank (or purchased more than one home in order to rent out). Hedge funds and foreign conglomerates also took advantage of the situation walking in and buying entire neighborhoods before they were even built. Now the average casino worker can only rent on the money they make. Okay, what does all of this have to do with your video you ask? People still need a decent place to live at an affordable price. The way things work is that you are to bust your ass working 2 and 3 jobs in order to satisfy corporate greed. Being house poor sucks by the way. Maybe I failed to mention inflation these days? A Big Mac cost $8 dollars? Regardless, it’s to the point people will have to work 4 jobs to stay afloat (if they can find them). We are about to hit a financial brick wall that’s going to take down the world economy and it’s already happening in Europe and other places. But not just yet here in the good old USA. Elon Musk and his “Boxable” affordable homes are preorder for years but it’s the right concept. The homes you show on your video channel make a hell of a lot of sense. What’s missing is the cost (and taxes) of land to put them on. That’s another missing link to housing affordability. Many in California who cannot afford homes or even rent have gone the recreational vehicle (RV) route and boondocking in the desert. Great idea right? Now California has moved to making it illegal because it upsets their taxing system. Regardless, it’s going to get really bad unless something changes all over the U.S. and the world.

I gave land there, but can't afford a builder to build on-site, trying to find a company that might fit into Sea Ranch design guidelines. Anyone that can help?!?

Before you go off carrying on like a pork chop cus I know ya ain't no bludger, there's an AMERICAN company that has been building almost the exact same models for the past 4 years with foundation packages, same 16' x 40' footprint, almost identical layout for U$ 110K. Now that's fair dinkum.

I don't want anything fancy. I want a one bedroom with a master walk in closet with the closet walking into a master bath then. The living room kitchen dining room open floor cheapest and nicest design possible. And at a 1000 square feet, the homeowner could convert. It into a 3 bedroom. Jack and Joe bath. At a later time.
