On August 8th, 2007, Amanda Lewis lost her children and her freedom in the blink of an eye. Her fate was sealed by the testimony of a six-year-old witness and the beliefs of an ousted medical examiner. It’s time to bring her home. Through the Making an Exoneree course at Georgetown University, students reinvestigated Amanda’s case and are advocating for her freedom.
This film was created by Esmeralda Vazquez, Ellie Sims, and Lisa Kennedy from Georgetown University, with support from Kristen Abram from Georgetown Law.

The fact that Aj shows covering Adrianna face was covered to get dunked in the pool and the medical examiner had seen the bruises on her face. Could it be that she has done that several times before on the dunking her head and this time it could just be an accident.

The mother has a defense attorney splitting hairs on her own sons testimony. What does that tell you? Seriously, what does that tell you? He’s willing to demonize a child that lost his sister. It makes no sense that this “attorney“ would attack a child. Makes no sense at all. You’d only attack your clients child if your client is negligent.

She did the crime she does the time . Traumatized her poor son AJ and had another son who died at 16 months she was 17

She was falsely convicted for something she didn't do. She refused a plea deal for the same reason and was convicted based on an inconsistent statement of a 6 year kid Without concrete evidence she shouldn't have gotten life without parole, this is injustice on so many levels which happens in many innocent cases
