Me: cracking up listening to Chester's voicemail. I agree with Caleb that Chester's a bit much (and that's an understatement). But, at least, Chester thinks Caleb is POG! Chester is totally the college frat boy of Frosthaven.

Caleb: "I'm not forming a pack." Me: "Oh really?"

Caleb: I'm not forming a pack Ever listener here: Oh you are honey, at this point is obvious you are~ Also Chester is that one friend that just is there, you don't know where he came from but now is part of the group and is funny, and I love it!!

"I'm a big softie inside. So keep that under your hat." Oh sweetcheeks, that isn't exactly a secret 😂

I’ve got an idea for an audio: An open letter from Caleb to his parents. Short version: “Oh btw I’m still Alive, not that you give a shit. You wanna hear about all this great stuff that has happened to me before or after I tell you that even if you have a change of heart, you are never allowed to contact me?” Long version: It starts with dramatic greetings from “the monster that was once your son” or a general “I’m not dead” statement. But otherwise he recants the years leading up to saving the listener, spilling his guts about the werewolf stuff, and then the two of them starting a relationship. He tells them in explicit detail how much he loves his mate and how much his wolf side loves them too. There some more about building his own family via his new pack. How his mate not only takes him to the woods at night and brings him home in the morning during the full moon days but has stayed with him throughout the whole night during a full moon before. Maybe a joke about how they even keep suggesting buying a van so they can make a werewolf carpool. And how he’s proud to call himself their mate and their fiancé. And for the first time in six years, he doesn’t fall asleep thinking about how much he hates being a werewolf and misses his family, because he’s too busy thinking about how much he loves them. Now he finally doesn’t give a f*ck about what his family thinks of him. This is his official, “If for some goddamn reason you have a come to Jesus moment, don’t bother trying to contact me. You stopped being my family a long time ago” statement. ((Sorry, word-vomit. I’ve been thinking about this for too long.))

I have to wonder in all of this.... where is Damien? Like, are he and his murder hobo pack just casually running around hunting people while all the vampires, other werewolves, demons etc. are just like eh... its fine? Do all the new people moving to Frosthaven know about the murder werewolves, and if so why are they moving there? I am very curious to see how it all plays out.

They became his family and so did we in turn. I guess that's why Caleb is so against forming a pack but I'd like to know if he knows how much of an impact he has on people like Chester and Talia and our brother. It might take him some time to realise this but he can't deny it that he's slowly but surely forming a pack (I'd love for him to have a pack and the carpool has to be a thing 😉) and he has all the makings of an Alpha 😉 So I'll just be right over here in this corner eating my sandwich minding my own business....... don't make me say I told you so 😉

Right so I've had an idea for this series for a while so bare with me. The listener gets taken by Damien and his mate who do not agree with the rules of the werewolf....uh pack association. Then Caleb, Chester, Talia, and the listeners brother come and save the listener. BUT then Connor is actually unknowingly helping Damien to kidnap his best friends mate. It might be a little hectic and may make the series very long but I think it would make a good story. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk lol
