Adam that candy store reminded me of Stuckey’s back in the late 70’s and 80’s when we travelled from California to Wisconsin. Alot of delicious treats and fun touristy nick nacks n such. Great memories.

I don’t know if you remember this book store called BORDERS, there was a few of them around my area, they had GREAT prices. They went under about a decade ago. The closest one to me sat empty for almost 9 YEARS…. Until they made it into a DMV…. 😅

Rained all day long non stop Thursday in Fort Myers, I seen that Miami had bad road flooding as well. Crazy we didn’t get this much total all summer! Glad you drove safe Adam! I hate rain in traffic 😖

That mall was really pretty! I hope maybe you go back there and show the stores, that tree and what looked like a good restaurant right there. Also show the Prada Gucci stores because a lot of people can’t see inside the stores because they check people’s checking accounts in order to go in.
I was watching the national weather forecast a few days ago, and it showed a big storm over the Gulf of Mexico headed to Florida. So that's what's hitting you. That mall was beautiful. Good to see some of them still thriving. I try to shop at the ones near me to help keep them in business.
Man I have some great memories of my mom taking my brother and I to Circus World when we were kids. I can’t remember the rides too much but I do remember a coaster for sure. I can recall the park itself though it was fun for sure

Lol, Adam it's been raining here in L. A. For a couple days. I went to Glendale Galleria and had no raincoat or umbrella. Got soaked. It's a nice mall you showed us.
I was at Circus world preview day back in the 70s rode an elephant that day then in June of 1979 when it was the amusement park was there with my grandparents which was bittersweet my grandpa died that August 16, 1979.

BAM: I went to a BOOKS A MILLION in Kissimmee last July! 2605 West Osceola Parkway, Kissimmee There's also the one in Davenport where you went and one in Leesburg (and several others in FL). Awesome store. It was like going back to when Barnes & Noble used to be a good book store. 😁
There is a fine and healthy Books-A-Million in Grossmont, California (about 1/2 an hour East by freeway from San Diego, California.) It is a great place to go and read. There is also one in Mission Valley Across from the Denny's on Friar Road (in San Diego California as well). When I lived in Port Richey, FL there was one there too. All booming, Christmas decorations in the rain (never seen them while out and about in beautiful snow) is one of my very favorite combos. I have a feeling you were doing a little Christmas shopping for family and friends. Don't worry, I won't tell! This was a sweet little personal favorite Adam the Woo video of mine. It’s great just to see a active mall again. Over here in Tampa all the old malls and the properties they sit on look like apocalyptic Zombie movie sets. Very depressing.
My Mom always wanted to stop at Davidson on Dundee candy factory on our way to Cypress Gardens back in the day. Same type of jelly candies there as well, delicious. I may need to order some!
I am in Northeast Florida, and we have a Books A Million. But I feel like you do, I thought it was the last one, lol I don’t see how they stay in business. And as far as the traffic down in that area, I still don’t understand why they do not have a light tram that runs down the median of those highways. Florida is perfect for mass transit. Also, they could stop building everything so far from each other, I really want to move down to that area but it’s hard to leave the beach because I can get everywhere on my bike here. Orlando is definitely only made for people with a car.

What a coincidence, I was just eating the very last piece of Goat milk fudge we bought at Webbs 5 weeks ago. We have been visiting Central Florida since 1994 and had our first visit there this year.
Starbucks calls it Red Cup Day, a one day a year giveaway with the purchase of any seasonal hot beverage, got mine too yesterday too! Anyhoo, Happy Life Day y'all, aka "the day you question all of life and the entire meaning of your existence as you watch lumpy's smile burn into your soul" day. 🙃
The last time I ate Webbs Citrus candy was back in the late 90's ,bet it still taste the same...it's good ,they didn't change much thru the 70's & 80's either except the packaging
