It's another rainy morning and we both agree, it's time to dry out these wet feet! We're taking a NERO in Piedmont, AL today to boost our energy. Soon we'll be done with the Pinhoti Trail in Alabama and we're excited about reaching Georgia in a few days....sadly, one of us won't make it.

So sorry about the painful loss. Glad you were able to get back to Andy and be with him and the family. Certainly praying for you guys. The trail will be there when you get ready. Hopefully will be a bit cooler and less overgrown. ❤

Sorry for you and your others loss. The trails will be there long after we have gone. As I told you I’m a Georgia native and after watching your journey I pushed the Pinhoti to the fall which is the absolute best weather in my state imho. Next month me and my wife will be back in Colorado. No trails this time however.

So very sorry for your loss. I am pretty new to watching RU-vid and I am thankful I found your channel. I just had a Total Hip Replacement 1 month ago and watching your posts help me get thru my indoor walking and PT exercises! I can't wait to get back to nature. My hubby and I were avid day hikers but after 51 years of marriage I lost him to a rare Cancer last April. I have always wanted to backpack and you are giving me more courage! I am nearly 72 but still ready to go! So thank you!♥️

That was a weird day. You handled everything with grace. I know you’ll be back to hike the second half. But after your other summer hike. I can’t wait to follow along on RU-vid. !

So sorry for your loss. There will be other opportunities to finish the trail, it is more important that you were able to be with your partner and his family.

Joey, I sure hated to hear that Andy’s dad passed away, but I am certainly glad that you were able to be there to support him and the family as I know they appreciated that very much. Congratulations to Gunslinger on finishing the trail. When you come back maybe I can join you and we can hike some again. I enjoyed this video series and cannot wait to follow the next hike.
