A NEW Casio G-Shock you never thought you’d NEED!!! 

If Casio did this with their 40 quid illuminator range they would make a killing

At £139 I was a little hesitant to punt up the money to buy one (the white version). While sat in the queue on the Casio site with 350 people ahead of me, I did consider bailing. However those 350 people ahead of me and everyone else who got one (not to just sell on), were clearly onto something - now I have it in my possession, I absolutely love it! It fits well and looks incredible. Likely the first and last white watch I'll ever own. I also think as a piece of design, it will age very well indeed - largely due to how different it looks to most watches out there right now. I'd hate to scuff it, so I might venture outdoors with it in a couple of days... or years 😅

That's a really cool effect. I've seen some fellow Gundam model kit builders to use that technique to paint their kits although they add shading and other colors as well. They look amazing!

Love these, the execution isn't quite up there with the D1 Milano Sketch but still very fun.

I gotta say I'm very thankful to G-shock watches spicifically the GBD H-2000 "which is one of the smaller G-shocks" becasue after wearing it for almost 5 months not only it helped me excersie more but now all my automatic watches seem exreamly skinny and small which is how i want them to feel on my wrist. Before wearing G-shock i always thought they are too big and uncomfortable on wrist, now for the first time it feel like im putting on a second layer of skin dont even feel it on my wrist thanks to how giant G-shocks are 😂😂😂

the box is 'boring' because it's the style of manga panels *before* you draw in them kind of like a "you are the artist"/"you create the stories with this watch" motif

I would def buy one of those if they were available because that is really cool. I'm with you, MWC, I have 2 GA-2100s and they're my least worn G-shocks. Small buttons and hard to use compared to a "normal" G-Shock. They look nice though.

Great vid as always, but I'm pretty sure there isn't a CasiOak with solar and multi band 6, let alone for under £150, but there are versions with solar and Bluetooth.

Really like the blue one, there is also a crazy MR-G2100 that looks beautiful but it’s £4300 so no go, as the standard full metal is only £500 ish. I got the GW-B5600 “caution yellow” at the beginning of the month and put a deployant clasp on it and love it.

When I first discovered TWC, I wasn't sure about they style & presentation. Has to be said, I love it now ❤❤. The effort and skill in the presentation and video is outstanding. My favourite watch channel.

I really like the Casioak. Spiffy watch. I just wish I could find more with a positive display. The darker display is a little too hard to read for these older eyes, but it's a great watch.

I got mine yesterday (they've become available in europe) and I love the look of it. Very fun and now that it even got the wifes blessing even better.

I've just got it yesterday. The white version. I pre-ordered from a Hungarian retailer, then they sent me an email a few days ago, that it won't come to Hungary. Meanwhile eBay prices gone wild. But I found a brand new from Japan, for 260usd. I'm not regretting it! It's a dope one

Yes! everytime I wear my 2100 I just go full analog, that digi screen is horrid. But I love my 2100 for everything else. These new ones are interesting!

The ga-b2100-1aer must be the best, legible lcd, tough solar and bluetooth connectivity. Wear mine regularly.

Crazy design Casio always at the edge of innovation

Have you seen that G-shock have just released the GBM-2100A, fixed all the problems with the GM-2100, now it has Solar, bluetooth (if you want it ?!) , beautiful colours and got rid of the nasty illegible negative digital display and replaced it with a positive display. It is now legible and beautiful.....as a result I sold my GM-2100-1AER and bought a GBM-2100A-1A2ER which has a Vapour Blue dial.......gorgeous.....check it out.....😁

The thing that troubles me with the whole ga2100 lineup since 3 years is that casio just couldn't agree to produce them with positive display The ones with them are light colored (from both men and women segments) which resists me from getting them as my daily beater..

I bought a DW-5735D-1B.. 35TH Anniversary model If I ever get a "Anniversary" model it will be Multi-Band 6 or Bluetooth at least. I have to say though these are two "very cool" pieces! A good thing about the 2100 series is that the most basic module, far as I can tell, still has 5 alarms and world time. That's not the case for the 6900 or any other limited models I've seen in other styles. 😭😭😭

1) Make the entire dial a dot matrix display. Keep the physical hands. 2) Use Comic Sans for the digital parts.

I like the Casioak and the special editions. But they are never the one with the solar and bluetooth. I have have a casioak with the solar, and I just don't want to go to a battery powered one.

It’s not the first time Casio have ‘gone all manga’ though. Remember the Neo Tokyo watch series, that came out to celebrate 30 years of Akira, a few years ago? Tbh, I prefer the Akira series. All the best.👍🏾🇬🇧

I much prefer the tone-in-tone summer Casioaks that were released earlier this year - 30% cheaper than the manga edition, still available and with highly legible positive lcd displays.
