Great video. I am waiting on my X1 Ultra. Hoping that one is more solid. On a bright note, my AJ159 Apex came in and the shell is much better quality than my old AJ199 4k.
What u said "they feel like rushing it" is really spot on. They didn't expect the demand is so high locally (china) and internationally. so yeah, i think for this batch the qc gonna be sacrificed a bit to fulfill the super high demand.

I finally got a mouse. Everything is great except for the 8Khz implementation. That spike that you were get, when it was in the game. I've test extensively on Overwatch 2 and APEX on 8Khz and usually encountered the "spike" as a input lag or a brief disconnection of the dongle, not the clicks but the motion of the mouse in game was not going with the movement of your hand. It was so annoying and made me lost the fight so often, so I decided to stay on 4Khz until further firmware came out. Not just you but all reviewer who are using XLAT also reported this spike. Someone should inform ATK about this issue.
Order now to get the free 8k dongle and then send it in for warranty if you have issues after waiting a while, hoping they have made minor tweaks to fix the issues.
Just ordered this mouse (pretty excited). Would love to see the test results of the delay in 8k vs 4k vs 2k vs 1k. I wonder how much the mouse depends on polling rate to have a fast response time and whether the mouse is still competitive vs other mice at lower hertz. Maybe you can make this into a YT short ??
There's something very premium about see a setup with an very asthethic mouse that is not an GPX, and its diffrent, nowdays we have so many good options for matching the setup while mantaing the ability to aim good.
found a quick simple fix to reduce that side flexing issue... try loosening the tension on that bottom screw on the side of the side buttons. seemed to help
Another solution is to use some keyboard lube on the INSIDE where the side switches slot into place (plastic tabs on each side). It's plastic sitting on plastic so the lube helped reduce the sound to nothing. EDIT: A better method is to apply some thin tape (I used kafton tape) along the rim between the top and bottom housing which reduces the creaking without the mess of lube.
i actually really like this mouse but my main issue is that the connectivity issues ESPECIALLY when using it wired makes it so painful to use. I had to buy a seperate usb-c cable and hopefully it should fix the issue but besides that i this mouse is really good imo
That means when you shake the mouse it makes some noise. I am definitely skipping this one because apart from the QC issues that bottom definitely is of poor quality. Speaking from experience of using vgn R1 se and R1.
Risk what? Most stores have free returns for certain weeks or even month and customer warranty for at least a year. If mouse is faulty you will see qc issues from the first time you use mouse. It is way more likely they have qc issue than develop few months later.

is the back hump similar to g pro superlight or hts +? i grip with the back hump on these mice on the underside of my knuckles and wondering if i can get that same grip with this mouse
I am now in the market for a new mouse after my Lamzu Mini broke and instead of getting V2, I'm looking around. All of these mice are pretty similar, honestly. Sora stands out a bit in terms of shape and massive weight reduction - other than that I really can't find myself a mouse. Pulsar QC is terrible, and no I don't want to pay extra for Demon Slayer edition to have presumebly fixed issues :/
Do you need 8k polling rate? If not then I suggest the vxe r1 pro as it had been out for long and is proven and tested by many reviewers already or you could wait for more reviews of atk f1. I personally went for vxe r1 pro since its cheaper although the 3950 sensor and the optical switches of atk f1 are things to consider since better sensor and no chance of doubleclicking compared to mechanical switches.

Feels like they took a bit too much off the shell to get to its 38g target for the Ultimate. Wonder how the Pro version stacks up. Disappointing otherwise. Coming from the excellent VXE R1 and VGN F1 series.
I'm pretty sure ATK is another offshoot of VGN like VXE or maybe they are all the offshoot of another company idk I just know they are all related, so I wouldn't doubt it
Seems like the first batch of these was 50/50, luckily mine seems to be perfect QC wise. Once they get all of their ducks in a row with the quality of these things i definitely recommend you reconsider, things a beast.
4:41 ahh man.. I grip exactly like that. that's gonna kill it for me then. had the same problem with the sprime. couldn't use it comfortably because of the heavy weird click feel towards the back. not like my g703.
