@@jakeufpshow do you use it in wired mode? do you have to turn it off? mine won't work if I switch it off then connect to type c cable. R1 says tri-mode.
@@vFxc thinking about getting this mouse and would go the jade route myself for speed now that they have it specifically for this mouse and not just dots. if you have it, how is it holding up assuming you use it?
@@ShaaayCs I've been using it for about a month and a half, it definitely lives up to what's in the video. One thing I'd note is that the coating gets shiny after a while but the coating is still very sticky (I have sweaty hands). The size flex is still the same and it's been a joy to use.
Wow now this is a detailed review from comparisons, mods, weight reduction, vendor recommendation to the software setup damn, you went beyond bro🤯 Banger review is an understatement man🔥🔥🔥🚒
I'm using r1 pro for allmost 2 month now. Best for the buck. No qc issues or connection issues (before that I first bought attack shark x3 and it feels trash now in comparison). Also mine is white, 50.5g from the box, it feels great, so I went with no mods. Only thing I don't like is how switches sounds , they have this crisp sound of chips or something, chummy sound, I don't know how to describe it, since English isn't my first language. Anyway, your review is great, and I can totally agree with you.
@@razleftw in not using any, feels just fine for me, anyway if needed I would go with xraypad dots. I don't have pulsar x2, so don't know will it fit or not
@@seanelstr just checked mine r1 pro, it isn't balanced too, front is heavier just a little, like really little. don't feel it while playing, but what i really felt when switched to r1 pro was 50g from 55g on x3, it really is a great difference. also x3 is really imbalance, front feels heavier, but anyway didn't feet it in game. In my opinion is better to have lighter mouse than perfect weight balance, but its all up to your personal preferences.
@@setone28ua fk, im torn between the R1 Pro and the R1 Pro Max the ORANGE color. I usually use around 5-6 hrs on weekdays and 10 hours on weekends and I dislike charging every 3-4 days on my wireless equipments. But I also want lesser weight. My bad for asking this hahaha but which in your opinion is better on those two options?
@@NubAnSkrub I got the SE too coming from the g305 but the clicks felt so stiff compared to the g305 and i couldnt hit as many shots idk if i need to use it more or if its the switches themself but yeah man.. maybe the pro version has better clicks?
W review, i had bought a gpx 5months back and it developed a double click so early lmao just switched to a F1 Moba from VGN and ordering a R1 pro soon.
funny how the scrollwheel on my GPX broke after 8 months (scrolls up when i scroll down and the other way around) and ive used the R1 PRO for over 7 months now and nothing broke no scroll wheel, no clicks, no side buttons. go for products 3 times more expensive guys and have them break down faster than the cheaper ones xD. great bang for your buck and great review!
i used a g205 for years and years at work (it was my first "gaming" mouse) and when it finally started double clicking i bought the R1 se and it surprised me so much that i had to buy another one to game on, the scroll wheel on mine is very high and for some reason it feels much better to scroll compared to my x2 (i play apex so i scroll a lot)
dont even wait for reply cuz of data of the video upload BUT. 1 Is that possible to put on this mouse an xray dots? And is that better than maya?Heard something about left click in this review so got a thoughts about to buy this mouse instead of buying lamzu maya. And who knows is that a big difference between 2k and 4k? Never used it before
Hi i would like to know if the mous in the video is wireless because in the specs it says that the pro and pro max are wired and i would like to know if the pro and pro max are wireless ? 👍😁
I got mine like a week ago and its my main mouse right now I love the shape and the quality especially for that price. Where did you get the skates with holes for the R1, or did you drill them yourself?
are you maining it and how is it holding up? thinking about getting one. I don't have sweaty hands myself either. did you switch skates? do they feel speedy, if not I'll get the jades since they make them specifically for this mouse now
this is cheaper than fantech helios 2, I guess I will buy this. whats the difference of r1 and r1pro? my 1st choice is pulsar x2v2 and nintjsu sora v2 but their shape I heard its not for fingertip grip, I'm afraid my hands will get hurt.
Yo ice review, is it comparable to xm1r - xm2we - sora 4k shape ? Looking for lil smaller - less bulky xm1r, will buy sora v2 but I might buy R1 pro too if shape is close enough. Thak you in advance for your answer !
I've been hearing alot of good things about the coating. One concern I have is it degrading. Not sure if you know what I mean, but Hyperx Cloud 2s have a rubber coating that becomes really sticky after sometime. Any chance if you can tell if they are the same kind of coating?
all coatings will degrade over the years, but in general, they won't get sticky, it will just wear off and you will be touching the raw plastic after a long time of use
what is the difference in r1 and r1 se, btw r1 pro is around $60 in my country without the 4k dongle so that is out of the question, r1 is like $35 so that is the one I am going to buy. Or is there anything else better? currently using g402(almost dying of the double clicking issue, and man its heavy as fk) so anything will be good I guess, and the region is India if ur curious. I hope you reply
I am kinda new to this but just wanna ask, do i need to buy a doungle to run 4k? And is it worth it as it takes too much battery life and pc performance?
yeah, you need the 4K dongle to be able to run 4K - I personally don't find it worth it since it's super hit or miss depending on what games you play and also your system battery life on 4K is theoretically a fourth of 1K
Is the normal R1 good? I dont play fps games but I just want a solid mouse that will give me atleast a few years of use with a good non mushy clicking feeling. Right now im using an old g502 and I dont really know what mouse to get next
Hello quick question in my country xm2we and R1 Pro Max is the same price which in your perspective is better, and also better hand feel, QC etc which one would you pick, thanks again Edit: Also op1we is also same price so yeah you can give your recommendation out of these 3 I personally claw grip and have a 20.5x10.5cm hand
The normal R1 also has a Broadcom MCU (cheaper) rather than the nordic MCU that the pro and pro max have that allows 4k (that mice from lamzu, pulsar, and even logitech with the gpx2 has).
Yooo, I did the same base cut except I kept the buttons and it's 45g with dot skates and stock battery. Where'd you score your battery by the way? I'm from the Philippines and I can't find a 3 pin :/
I was going to buy superlight 1 used, but now im intrested about this. How this compares to the size of superlight, smaller handfeel? Hump is more towards back
Sadly the qc isnt all what it seems to be. Theres actually plenty of reports on m1 m2 being sticky and have an unit with this issue. Theres a fix by taking it apart and removing a small rubber under the clicks, which are there for 0.
Don’t buy pulsar x2 like he said, this one is better, if you’re talking about the purple paint, they don’t sell purple color, he just painted it himself
Could you tell me please which mouse from the r1 and s450 (big skate batch) have the most responsive and snappy side buttons? I bought used superlight and it was a horrible choice mostly because of the mushy and non-accessible (the pre-trevel and low profile) side buttons.
Should I use the R1 with bluetooth or 2.4ghz wireless? Also, since the regular R1 doesn't come with a dongle extender, is it still working flawlessly when it comes to latency/signal loss?
Im new to all of this serious mouse/keyboard stuff, but can somebody tell my why everyone calls this the "best budget mouse" and not just the best mouse in general? Where are the differences compared to like when you spent $100? And would would be the best overall?
@@ktn772 DaV3 is really good but for the price I feel like you can't beat the R1 since it's wireless. I just bought it, should receive it tomorrow, will let you know how it fares.
this bro, they said it’s a bit of an upgrade. but if you dont like the shape of the R1, consider F1 MOBA. forgot with the issue in F1 pro max but choose MOBA
I'm actually about to buy this to replace my DAV3 oddly enough. I've owned a DAV2 pro for years and it works just fine, I retired it to the office when I bought the V3. But the V3 middle click has stopped working in the past month or so. I tried profile resets like suggested in a couple posts but it eventually stops working again, which is infuriating. If that's the quality we get for $150 mouse, I don't fucking want it. I'll buy budget mice that just work.
