Changing 'Chibi' to 'Ko' is pretty cute. Like 'lil child' basically.

Given that Chibi-Robo died mostly because of bad management (End of gen gamecube game, store exclusive DS game, and a 2D platformer nobody wanted) I hope this is a wake up call to Nintendo that they wasted a series with high potential and now they won’t reap the benefits of it, even if it’s technically a different IP.

This was a surprise for me I just recently beaten Chibi Robo again, it looks pretty awesome to see the old gameplay format being used in a new original game.

This feels alot like the Rare revival of Playtonic Games! koROBO looks delightful!

It looks low budget af. But if we can show it more financial support, I’m sure we can help it improve the game or improve upon it with a future game.

While this looks really good it’s sad that the creators of a property don’t hold ownership over it and have to make a brand new “spiritual successor” in order to make the game they want….

I feel sorry for the Chibi Robo franchise Had it’s original game Then a period of games that were Japan exclusive or store exclusive Then came Ziplash, the mediocre platformer that is nothing what fans of Chibi Robo wanted whilst being told “if this game doesn’t sell well then no more Chibi Robo” Only NOW getting a sequel but as a completely different franchise It does feel like someone must really hate the Chibi Robo franchise if the only way we can get a Chibi Robo game similar to the first Chibi Robo is by having the old developers creating a spiritual successor instead of being able to use the Chibi Robo IP (considering the Chibi Robo IP is now considered dead by those who own the IP)

Excellent news. I loved the original Chibi Robo and wish the series iterated on that instead of the constant mismanagement it was subject to. Its still too bad Clean Sweep the DS game that followed up the 1st one never left Japan.

I wonder why they didnt just pitch to Nintendo? Or did Nintendo just regect the proposal? With franchises like Another Code, Endless Ocean, and Advance Wars coming back this wouldve been great to add Chibi-Robo to the mix as well especially since this seems to harken back to the original Chibi-Robo on GCN (i.e. the best one).

Looks pretty good I’ve been wishing since the GameCube we could get another chibi robo game. I know we have got spin offs but out of them all the only one I care for was the DS one cause you had a big garden to explore and upgrade

Might play if it comes to Switch later on. Around 2021, there was another Chibi Robo successor called Misc. A Tiny Tale. It's not the same developers but they were inspired by the original game. Heard it was supposed to come to Steam and Switch but haven't heard anything since.

Dude I was literally just thinking about chibi-robo the other day and how since Mario and Luigi were able to come back even with their original developers going bankrupt maybe there’s hope for chibi-robo and now I see this! I’m so freaking happy especially since it’s just like plug into adventure from the GameCube.

I’m so hyped for this and I’ll definitely be picking this up! Though while I think it’s cute that they’re keeping the same style of animation they had back in the GameCube game, I do wish they could modernize things a bit, as imo it does look dated and kind of unpolished. Stuff like snapping from one position to another is fine, it’s like exaggerated scenes in cartoons, but stuff like at 0:38 looks very rough and unnatural imo. Regardless I’m so hyped that we’re in the timeline where Chibi Robo is kinda back :)

Definitely happy to see a new Chibi-Robo style game, Not a big fan on the designs or How Korobo Looks and the Artstyle in general, Definitely hope it gets revamped, And hopefully also gets more classic Skip energy and style. Still great too see this is a thing at all. I also want too see a spiritual successor too Captain Rainbow. Hope that can happen someday from them too, Also i hope if this game does well we could maybe see a Chibi-Robo collection. It could be called Chibi-Robo Recharged Collection!

honestly, i'm not entirely sure about this, while this could have some potential, i kinda don't see THAT much creativity in it, to me its like "it's Chibi Robo! But it isn't cuz copyright, and theres a demon version of you ig lol" i would like to see the devs put even more new ideas in it and make it more of its own thing.

I feel as though the "time-traveling enemy" might just be the player, but after gaining every upgrade and maybe seeing some sort of truth.

This time there's no way they can mess it up as badly as the rest of the Chibi-Robo games...

The artstyle isn't exactly where I'd like it to be but close. And I like to compare these type of games to *Tinykin* because I loved that one and it'd be great if it'll give me similar vibes. And I hope there won't be too much combat to make it more cozy. For example *The Plucky Squire* looks great but has a bit too much combat for my taste.

Always happy to see spiritual sequels/games meeting the demand of fans when big companies refuse to. Wild to me how many IPs Nintendo/Sega/Sony etc are just sitting on that people really want more of.

I'm probably one of the biggest Chibi-Robo fans on this planet and this game just doesn't look good. It looks like the "Unreal 3 Chibi-Robo" but without the charm, heart, or really anything. It's almost like someone made it themselves in Blender, claimed to be the "minds behind" Chibi-Robo, and it's all just another Kickstarter scam (of which there are many).
