I just finished watching it and even though it’s the shortest season it’s by far the best one I’ve seen, it managed to stay comedic through a really depressing subject matter and really gave proper depth to these characters they’ve been building up for so long, it feels like this could’ve been the actual end of the show with how well made it is. The whole adult arc was so interesting to see as you still see glimpses of their child selves in their grown up bodies, but is also super depressing at the same time due to how realistic their futures turn out and who they become

Cartman's relationship with his friends wasn't the reason he was horrible, his hatred for Kyle was. When Cartman reunited with Kyle, he was starting to revert back to his old self. It wasn't until his wife and kids saw what he was becoming that he managed to pull himself out of it.

He grew to be one my very favorite, if you're like me and have absolutely no life and watch south park over and over and over and over and over again in your free time it opens new perspectives believe it or not lol. Cartman is a very tragic character behind the inherent apparent evil! Lol, I never even realized unto going through the first few seasons again and again cartman was bullied way harder by the boys than what you may remember, and he'd usually respond with "screw you guys I'm going home " the hate and antisemitism was fueled and built up and without a real parent for guidance and an extremely rough and lonely home life....that's at least my take on Cartman!
