I’m not sure if she is actually fluent in Japanese. I’ve heard that she knows a little because of her Japanese maternal grandfather and I saw a video of her family at a Japanese restaurant and her mom was speaking to the server in Japanese. Angelina also sang a song in Japanese while in Japan. She supposedly knows some Swedish as her father is Swedish. The only instruments that we know she plays for sure are piano and guitar. There are many videos of her playing those instruments. Several comments have said that she plays flute and violin. I’ve never seen any verification that this is true. It’s possible that she had some instruction on those instruments in her after school music classes but never really continued playing them.

Hi guys, the whole EP "Old Enough" is such a masterpiece all original and so well written by her, all I can say is she is outstanding and by far the best singer of this decade or century and Diamond is an even bigger surprise I have had in my entire life I have never seen an EP only contain number 1 songs, each of the 6 songs is a hit and grammy worthy. I hope that Republic Records will finally start the promo engine and it will be played on the radio and TV, only RU-vid is not enough. The crazy thing is that she said that the EP with 6 songs is a small selection of over 100 songs that she has already written, which gives hope for the future that we will be surprised with even more beautiful songs

Angelina is afterall Norways youngest published author at 9 yrs old and her grandma Mery is quite the poet herself. Her song writing abilities is extensive. She admitted at the time of the EP drop that the 6 songs were from a 100 songs AJ has written so far. When it comes to Angelina the future is so bright!
Guys sounds like you both have fallen into the Angelina Jordan "Rabbit Hole" along with all her Angels! "Old Enough" is a Gold EP, every song takes you to the next level showcasing her musical Talent. I recommend going back to Angelina's early years, went she was 6 years old first time in a Recording Studio, singing in English to "I Who Have Nothing" will blow you away, how is it possible to read and sing at 6 in a foreign language? Looking forward to your journey with Angelina's catalog of 200- plus covers along with her original work!
Great reaction guys. Yes English is not her first language but she has been fluent in it since she was a little girl. It’s fairly common for children in the Scandinavian countries to learn English growing up as well as their native language. She is also apparently fluent in Farsi. It doesn’t seem that Angelina has ever really had much of an accent. Even in video of her as a little girl she doesn’t really have a noticeable accent.. Now that she has lived in LA since she was 12 she sounds like a typical California teenager.

We’re actually still waiting for her full album to be released. Last March she had said that her album was complete however only an EP was rekeased. Late summer she said her album was coming out very very soon but there hasn’t been an update since. So it would seem that there are already completed songs ready to be released at any time. From what I’ve heard the EP songs were actually pretty much finished in 2022 but weren’t released until last summer. They are rolling her at very methodically

Angelina`s journey can be seen on YT ( over 200 vids ) starting with her first vid aged 18 mths singing a bit of Whitney to her latest Nobel Peace Prize ` Unchained Melody ` a few weeks ago aged 17 . She loves Amy and has covered many songs also loves Elvis , Queen who gave her full copyright to her cover of their song Bohemian Rhapsody , Whitney , Aretha , Billie Holiday , Sinatra , Louie Armstrong etc A good vid to watch is I Put A Spell On You , black and white version aged 9
Angelina has been writing songs since she was 10 years 0ld - So far 12 have been released: Oslo, What is Life?, Shield, Million Miles, 7th Heaven, Love Don't Let Me Go, Now I'm The Fool, Fire and Rain, All My Fault, Good in Goodbyes, Diamond, and Our Time. Angelina has stated that she has written about 100 songs that have yet to be released. Her songs are taken from her Journal writings. When she was 10/11 she rewrote the Lyrics to Amy Winehouse's Back to Black and Rehab to make them more age appropriate at that time.
This song, from her current EP, is my favorite of the six. It reminds me, 'beat ' wise, of 'Empire State Of Mind' by Jay Z & Alicia Keys and 'specifically' the performance they did outdoors at Time Square in NYC. Jay should reprise it with Angelina doing the piano intro of Alicia, before meandering up to the stage to form somewhat of a duo with Jay. She has more than enough power for the song and can even 'Rap', so Jay would feel right at home with her. It would be epic, to be sure.
Thanks for your reaction to this awesome original song by Angelina Jordan. I like to believe this "Old Enough" EP with 6 original songs is the beginning of the "Angelina genre". I am familiar with the British artist, Ren, who has a remarkable story of being misdiagnosed with mental illness, when in fact he was suffering from Lyme disease. His battles and treatments for mental illness and his music telling of those awful years in his life, have meant a lot to millions of people. I hope Ren inspired everyone suffering with mental illness to seek professional help. I think fans of Ren would love Angelina's music.
I'm a Ren fan and Chinchilla and Dirt Miller..😊. I really love AJ's vocals and jump in and have a listen to her quite often. I just don't relate to the content which is such a shame but i need more than amazing vocals to buy an album or concert ticket. But i would buy them for my Mum and Nana who would love them 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Great job again as always guys. Happy New year to both of you. This was a fabulous song that Angelina composed then put on her EP "Old Enough." It's one that really is suited more for mainstream younger generation and your right her lyrical composition is totally relatable to the younger generation. She definitely is a role model for the young women and even men out there. She sings from her heart and always wants to bring only joy, happiness and peace to everyone. Angelina basically is bringing a new genre to music called jazzy pop. It's so unique and different and really needed in today's pop-tart , plastic mainstream music.
