I wish players could just buy gliders from the shop after an event ends, especially if it’s region locked. It just seems unfair to international players.
I miss Golden Archipelago and how good the stories were. Kazuha, Fischl, Mona and Xinyan events were better than most characters quests. Last summer was just more NPC stuff (only saved by gorgeous looking Kaeya).
The second version exploration made me give up but the story was one of the best ones we've gotten, i wish we got more lore events now they feel more filler, celebrationy. Im still mad we got no third albedo event the second one was absolute fire😭😭🙏
@@smuglumine9379 Yes! Susbedo storyline was amazing. Give us more! Poor Albedo, he’s one of the most interesting characters in the whole game but it’s all done in events so newer players never even get the chance to experience it and get to know him. (I’m biased since he’s one of my favourites but still :)
Finally dialog review. Took them a while, to add it. Would be also great if it also logs random overworld dialog, Paimon always talks when I'm in middle of combat (like time triggered quest or new quests) and I can't read it and with the noise I also can't hear it.
What do you mean "a while"??? It took them almost 4 fkn years. Do you know how many gacha games have died in that span due to not having QoL but Genshit gets a free pass

I think the level and friendship requirements for the IT mode are fine, since it seems to only give cosmetics, you would usually only care about the ones for characters that you actually play/main, at which point you most likely already have the prerequisites or really close to them Do hope that they allow to get more keys from doing IT, cuz not only you would be able to get more cosmetics per season, but it'll also add replayability value to the mode itself
@@Dirtmaniatic I did mention that this is the one problem i find with the addition and hope they'll increase the key income to about 3-5 per season. Or, similar change, just reduce the requirement to 1 key and not 2, so you can at least get 1 cosmetic per month. It's a worse solution but still fair one IMO
Yeah i think the number of keys is really the main issue. Only getting one per season probably means players won't even touch the game mode until hoyo adds a character they really care about and that's just a waste of dev time and resources
I can't believe it. All I want is to give hoyoverse money and get a cool skin. But to this day, they have NEVER released a paid skin for a character I actually HAVE. (I have later on pulled Jean, Keqing, and Diluc, but at the time of their skin's release, I didn't have them) And to top it off, the free skins have NEVER been for a character I have built, outside of Fischl. Fischl's skin is the only one I have ever been able to use.
Fr, by this point all the 1.0 4 stars should've had skins already. We're almost at version 5 and there's still day 1 characters that might or might not get a skin someday
Few passive exploration talents from fontaine are kind of region locked if they relate to swimming. Neuvilette, Lynette, Furina, and Sigewinne if I recall correctly. I guess fontaine character's dolphin jump is also locked for the same reason. I think those animations showed in the teaser will work anywhere, but I suspect we will get exploration talents focused around using those animal movements showed in the first teaser.
Finally bought the Diluc skin to compliment that dash cosmetic. Hopefully they won't be releasing any other male skins any time soon. Also excited for the long-term encounter points so much! Assuming we don't spend the resin on the points, but on other things which will count to the points. Kinda confused with the wording.
@@kotarouinugami1745Nah in the dev note it says spending resin normally will convert the encounter points,so like farming artifacts and stuff will convert them.
@@kotarouinugami1745 Yeah it basically means once you explore a lot you don't have to do commissions anymore until the next x.0 update. You can just spend your resin and then claim the commission rewards saving you a ton of time.
The roof Chioriya boutique has a seemingly 3D outside that you can see of the court of Fontaine, like the 3d Mondstat city inside the knights of favonious do you know if you can break out of it???
This patch made me so excited coz I can finally get Nilou and Kirara. I skipped Nilou first time then lost 50/50 on her rerun but now I have guarantee and my saved genesis crystals from welkin is enough to get her new outfit which is pretty (though I love her base design more). Kirara is my only missing 4 star unit and now I can have her for free and her new outfit as well. So true on the Natlan characters, my first thought when I saw them was why they look like pokemon gym leaders or something. Not really impressed by their designs coz I was expecting Natlan to have a more tribal/outlandish design something similar vibe to Razor.
I would LOVE to get Qiqi's trail, but the problem is I DON'T EVEN HAVE QIQI so I'll have to wait till I actually get her (which could take like a thousand years) and then I'll have to wait untill she's friendship lvl 8 just so I can unlock the challenge💀
I have played it, but just haven't released any content yet. There's...too many gachas, haha. I got overwhelmed with the back-to-back releases of Wuthering Waves and ZZZ.
I wanted to explore the golden archipelago again cuz I've only been there once and the next summer event was in a bottle with a whole theme park just for klee

The new character designs look so silly to me. And design is one of the biggest reasons I pull for characters. I may end up skipping a lot of banners. But also oh my god I need that glider for my Lyney!! He's my strongest character and he needs to be fully decked out!
No fontaine map expansion? All of fontaine has to be released before Natlan. Does this mean we're getting Natlan and the last map of Fontaine together?
the last area already released tho? Petrichor and the Sea of Bygone Eras gave us all the hydroculi needed to fully level the statue of seven and have 1 left over, meaning the Fontaine map is complete, any more expansions would not count as part of the main area (like Dragonspine for Mondstadt and Chenyu Vale for Liyue)
@@lexi-mr9mz Damn, I was referring to the highest mountain that's still not accessible and the remaining Eastern & Northern parts of the Fontaine map. It's a pretty big portion of Fontaine so I was looking forward to seeing it being added.
@@EricChiEric Yeahhh, but do be fair Liyue was one of the first regions released, so it's release rate is unique compared to Inazuma and Sumeru. The land added to Sumeru was also negligible, there were a lot of complaints over no chests, challenges, etc being added to the area.

Since I love building characters, I find this mode to be up my valley. But I have not yet tried it on difficulties other than "easy", so I am not sure how hard it actually is, and how well-built the characters have to be.
Those requirements for the cosmetic running effect is so restrictive jeez Lv90 takes so much resources, would prefer if it were lower to lv70/80 and one key instead of two.
Fun part is, I would maybe got a Diluc skin, if they let me have Diluc in the first place. 2.5 years since I started, I have every single standard character, except Diluc. I even got three Wolf's Gravestones. But why would I get a skin for a character I don't have and don't know if I ever will? Why can't we have standard banner selector? So, they are making even more whale only event for Imaginarium Theater? The game is getting more and more ridiculous bs... Theater was terrible already and now they are even further gatekeep it? Also I hate that everyone complains the characters to Pokemon Trainers. Because what? They have animals? That's dumb... Also I totally disagree that time limited maps are funnier. It's a cognitive bias. Because you won't have it anymore and you will miss it. That's why GAA should never bee an event map. It should be a map that unlocks forever. All these time limited maps should never be time limited. It's only the excuse to give people less primogems if you don't play regularly. That's bs.
It makes sense for Nahida, who is a plant goddess. It makes sense for Kirara (that's her cat feet, not some kind of fancy footwear), who is a cat shapeshifter. It makes less sense for Nilou. But I'm under impression that she does wear shoes in that costume, since the next version preview stream actors complimented those shoes.
@@kotarouinugami1745 I get that Nahida's design is in line with all the "archon forms" having bare feet, but she walks around on the ground just like everyone else, so I can only imagine that her fake socks are super dirty by this point. They really didn't have to force her into this "archon form" and could have just given this poor child some shoes. And also a bed in that room that she still hangs out in. As for Nilou, there's an outfit showcase post out now, and it shoes that she does indeed just walk around barefoot now.

And honestly, in warm countries like Sumeru, the main reason to wear shoes is if you're afraid of hurting your feet by stepping on broken glass. It's totally normal to walk without shoes. And it makes foot fetish people happy. I can never understand them.
@@kotarouinugami1745 They also need sunlight, but she's fine in some room for five centuries. She's not literally a plant. I know it's pretty normal in some places, but still... dirty. Dirty feet. And we can use her model to run around on any surface, including in the rain... so dirty. So gross.
@@kyogre-blue Well, I guess we can conclude that we have cultural differences. I don't think there is anything wrong with having your feet dirty. You just need to clean them up when you go inside a home.

I totally like that loli, and I'm going to pull for her. But why does Natlan look even more high-tech than Fontaine? Are Mondstadt and Inazuma actually barbaric lands with low technology compared to the setting's mainstream? I mean character design. If you told me they're from a game about modern kids drawing graffiti and sticking it to the man, I would believe you.
TLDR overpriced but pretty nilou skin pretty decent free kirara skin yet another summer event without archipelago hide hud in overworld and (mostly) in story 10 sec boss respawn (best new feature) useless new daily quest feature (30 resin for one daily bruh) more tcg probably nobody cares about new ''endgame'' that take 2 months to get one character cosmetic another glider probably gonna be paid 💀 pretty cool sneak peak for natlan characters mid update and stream, natlan better bring something real good
