I respect the idea of like "testing" the foundation and seeing how it works with or without primer and setting spray but realistically, I feel like you should test foundation how YOU would wear it every day. Of course some people will complain and say, oh it changes based on setting spray or powder because they use different products than the youtuber. But as someone who has been seven or so years in high end make up, i wouldn't wear a foundation any other way than how i normally do lol.

I have this foundation and I love how glowy it is. I wore it for my graduation and it looked great in the pictures. I love your foundation videos! I just ordered the radiant longwear one you wore on your wedding day because of how pretty you looked. I have dry skin also and I’ve been using the Nars soft matte foundation which I thought would be too dry because I don’t like matte foundations but it is very comfortable and lightweight. It only looks good if I use my hands to blend it though. It looks more natural than I thought. I love using the charlotte tilbury flawless filter underneath and the milk hyrogrip spray after so it isn’t too matte. You should try it if you haven’t! Your shades always help me also because we are usually the same shade when fair and tanned. Love your videos!

I am GUTTED. Nars foundations used to be my all time favourites until they started testing on animals and were no longer cruelty free 😢 I still haven’t found an alternative that’s as good as Nars!

We always have the same taste in foundation so I was wondering how you felt about this one as I've been using it a few weeks and I love it! Another favourite that's more for every day use is the No7 all in one foundation. It makes your skin look so healthy and glowy without being too much. It's a good dupe for the It cosmetics cc cream

I literally did the same thing! Sheer glow was my fave for years, then and still is natural radiance but now I need to try this one! I miss watching like an old school make up haul and then you trying the products into a first impressions xx

The hourglass concealer is my favorite. I've found that the one size concealer looks and wears the same as the hourglass though and I think it's a little more affordable. It's hard to find shades pale enough for me though.

My holy grail foundation is the shisedo radiant synchro skin. It has to be the radiant one. It's glowy but lasts all day and I don't have to use powder if I don't want to.

It’s summer here, and I don’t like to wear a lot of foundation when I’m out in the heat a lot, and it’s the perfect summer foundation. Perfect coverage, perfect glow, perfect weight ✨

I’m absolutely loving the Wet N Wild bars focus tinted hydrator tinted skin veil! I use it mixed with a drop of face oil in it then lightly set with fit me loose powder. My husband commented twice in a row the first two days I wore it that my skin looked so beautiful and amazing but he didn’t know I changed anything. Works so good for me! 👌🏼😊

I've been loving the new nude glow cc cream from IT cosmetics. It's beautiful! I think you would definitely love it too. It's pretty similar to the light reflecting foundation, but more glowy than the nars. I enjoy the It cosmetics more than the nars one.

Thanks! Already added the NARS foundation to my list. To wear minimal makeup, I'm using the #touchbeauty ultrasonic device glow. It works great for me so far. Deep cleanse but gently to remove the impurities in the pores. My skin feels a lot smoother! I'm using it more regularly for a weekly treatment to make a clean look at makeup. I like it so much!!

Hey Shan, idea: maybe you can use a spray/mist on top of your makeup which isnt for setting it, but just a facemist to blend all the powders together. Like not a settingspray but just a facemist, looks the same but doesn’t change the longivity of the wear (so it doesnt ffs up the outcome of the first impression) ? 😘

I bought this after your video and I really want to love it but, I feel like it is so patchy and drying. It ends up separating and looking really cakey and I'm not even using a full pump. I've tried different primers and moisturisers, brushes, sponges and nothing seems to help! Has anyone else had this issue? And if so how did you make it work?

It depends how oily your skin is but I have normal to oily skin and it lasts amazingly well on me. I wouldn't use a glowy primer with it though and I use urban decay setting spray if I'm wearing it all day and evening

I think 10 hours would be someone's average work day between getting ready and driving and what not. If a foundation doesn't last that long I won't mess with it myself.

Currently my fave foundation is the tinted moisturizer by wet n wild bare focused tinted hydrator for summer, but my all time fave is the L’Oréal pro matte foundation. I’m venturing out and trying the nars soft matte foundation for my wedding though! 💗
