Let alone games that have been out for years and people still find stuff. Granted that kinda thing happens with a bunch of games, take Borderlands 2 and how many new bugs, glitches and skips have been found over the last few years. But yeah, to quote someone from this magical community, "Fighting game, is, something... SO great!"

​@gameclips5734 I think it depends character-to-character. Mechanics around forcing burnout and characters with special level 2s like Blanka Juri Ed Rashid lead to a lot of tech, but then there's some sauceless members of the roster as well

@@Amaling definitely character dependent, and i agree some level 2's make up for it a little but on the whole there is much less to explore

It's really not bad, 2 frame window for heavy blitz is easy to get consistent with some practice. It's manual but with sound cues and making Ed crouch it's really not bad.

It's pretty sad that whenever anything interesting happens due to players pushing the boundaries of a character and the word "nerf" floats up into people's minds.

@@Brian_F I'm guessing because pros make it look easy. The average on-looker will think that every Ed player will do this from now on. It also won't help when more and more top-tier Ed players start posting videos of them pulling it off, making it look even more common (even if only the top 1% of Ed players are *occasionally* pulling it off in specific circumstances.) I wouldn't be surprised if Capcom does do a slight nerf (removing/reducing drive gain while level 2 is active or something), not because it's ruining the game experience and actually unbalanced, but out of the principle of "it's not really supposed to work like that." It would be a shame (as you said, seeing players push the limits of a character is really cool), but I could definitely see them doing that.

@@imjust_a Yeah, I mostly say it will get nerfed because cool stuff has gotten nerfed already and based on my experience with Smash Ultimate, I think the tendency is strong enough for it to happen eventually.

The only nerf I would see happening is reducing the meter gain to be consistent with the other level 2s that have had similar nerfs. I would be surprised if they nerfed anything to make the combo itself impossible.

It makes me think of rashid and chun getting nerfed specifically for their meter gain with both their lvl2s, but not the combo itself. I hat nerfs so I'm hoping not for the sake of Ed popularity

I’ve found a lvl2 into lvl1 super combo with Jamie that’s pretty good in terms of damage (unless drink lvl4, it’s pretty much on par with his usual lvl3 super routes), but it definitely doesn’t build much meter at all, so it’s not optimal in that sense. It’s really effin’ cool though, so there’s that

They will if enough ppl talk about. They snuck in a Ken nerf June 10th - Jinrai loops now almost impossible to do without plinking - and you need to plink a SHORT. That’s territory very few players ever learned. You need a dead button that won’t override the short, or give you throw.

@@workoutfanatic7873 i seriously doubt plinking is required for jinrai loops considering it's not required for pretty much anything else, it's always been optional for people who prefer using it

@@felipecouto1102 In terms of meter gain, yes, complete opposite in terms of execution. Rashid's Ysaar mixup and pressure is much easier to do albeit still quite tricky, Rashid mains pull it off constantly, this is another level. SO hopefully they won't nerf it as it is really rare to come up in an actual match

@@yoruzeruel5009rashid lvl2 kinda controls the pace of the match and forces you to guess. Ed level 2 just does mad damage and corner carry, so maybe they won’t nerf it

​​@@unsaltedmixednuts8036 chun lvl 2 was the same and they nerfed meter gain on that, just not as severe as Rashid's. They'll probably do something similar with Ed. Probably less severe than Chun due this being way harder to do.

This is much harder imo, much more situational, and in the context of sf6, much riskier to go for than evil ryu stomp loops. I would say the full Rufus only evil ryu loops might be harder but if you drop them it's no big deal and you can attempt again right away. You mess this up you might never get the chance again lol Edit: after more practice, I take it back. I think this is slightly easier to execute than basic e. Ryu stomp loops, but more situational. It can definitely be done consistently

That would be the holy grail. Doesn't exist yet. Like mentioned in the video, before this it could only be done from specific conversions with OD flicker. Now consistent grounded OD blitz let's you get them. Who knows what will be figured out next

Not an expert but there's two attacks out of the command dash depending on if you hit the button early or late; make sure you're doing the right one.

Its usually a bad thing, can translate as "terrible" but in this context it is bad for the receiving end. So its "Oof"
