very much excited for the prospect of a new web series from you both! I used to work a really stressful job and sitting down to watch and episode of this might get... used to be my little coffee break treat! and also Grace we all 100% would have tried the grilled cheese too... look up breville toasties, they are a big thing here in the UK but the mess those machines can get into is next level, half the time they are perfect half the time your counter top looks like a volcano exploded.

I always just dump butter in the pan. The sandwich will figure it out, there's no need for me to introduce them when they're both cold. You can also get the big(?) package of cheese, which comes in two stacks with no wrappers to deal with. Since singles last literally forever in the fridge, it's fine if I only make grilled cheese once every two months or so. Which makes me think I should make grilled cheese. Maybe for lunch tomorrow?

Grace if you ever wanna give grilled cheese a chance again (of course you do) you should try ‘em in the oven. It’s almost impossible to mess it up. The on-the-stove-pan method is much harder to not burn or have it stick to stuff. I usually do like 7ish minutes on one side, take outta the oven, flip ‘em, a few more mins on that side, and you’re good to go 👌 crispy gooey yum yum yum

Replace that green skillet with an Oxo Good Grips non stick pan. Recommended by America's Test Kitchen. I have a 12 inch pan and that has enough area to flip 2 sandwiches without making a mess. Just a cooking hint. 😁😋

Everyone cooks grilled cheese in too hot a pan. Start low when the butter side hits, turn up slightly as it cooks.

i dont think the grilled cheese was your fault - that looks like an always pan. mine stopped being non stick after a couple months, in fact it became *sticky* like literally everything sticks, even bread....which should never stick lol
