They do not use overtake, i did some tests yesterday and at bahrain, australia, and jeddah with qualifying. At bahrain just hotlap mode would use about 70% of the allocated ers for a lap, when watching the ai do a lap and watching there ers available meter it was consistant with just hotlap with no overtake being used. I found the same at the other tracks mentioned earlier. Hope this helps
