@@billyhgvuk , I could understand companies not wanting people who have only driven cars, but me, 23 years as a professional driver not even considered for class two.

Also, can we some manourvers and more actual driving plz instead of just talking whilst your waiting to tip 🤝

never speaks about the money iv noticed that - i wanna know if i do the class 1 what sort of £ i can earn, weather its worth it or not - i work in construction and get piss wet through and freeze in the winter and roasting in the summer - run around like a blue arse fly all day, leave house at 6am start about 7.30 finish at 5 - two 30 minute breaks and get home about 6.15, get 9 hours pay for that but its at about £21 an hour.. problem is, its taking its toll i dont enjoy it anymore an plus its self employed so no getting paid on bank holidays, no holiday pay either can be on good money for say 8 weeks but then off for two weeks waiting for work to start etc.

Same as me mate, I been in construction landscape for 15 years now 45 and it takes its toll. I just passed theory hazard and just learning module 2. Wages seems to be the area. Up north seems pretty rubbish but down south east area seems better pay.

@@s1dew1nd3r4 £14 an hour here in Buckinghamshire mate for class 2 and £15 for class 1 and it is palletworks multidrop like 30 stops a day.

I avg £750 a week take home get the hours in and you will earn more defo worth doing ,I’m on year 19 class 1 driving and still love it

I wasn’t happy and also personal reasons. I also looked at the job for experience as I didn’t have many options at the time 👍

@@billyhgvuk I’ve been a driver for 9 years was in the same job for 8 of them since it finished I’ve had 4 jobs in the last 3 months. Start the 5th one a week Monday just hope it’s the one

Yes. Get yourself a good theory book. And study every single evening until you have your test. That’s all I did, and I passed all three 👍 I kept it simple! There’s also an App you can download on smartphones aswell which is around £9.99 a month.

You need to work on what your getting incorrect buddy. Focus and takes notes of the questions that your struggling on. Download the app. That may help on smartphone

@@billyhgvuk thanks mate I've passed all 3 now thank God. I used the app I was getting 86/87% on mocks so I just upped my passed rates to about 94% on average. I got 94% today. Happy days. Practical next. Then I need to try and find work. Wish me luck. I am also doing my ADR training soon. Been thinking about hgv1 I would love a job like yours looks decent Billy :)
