X⁶ = (X-6)⁶ » ⁶√X⁶ = ⁶√(X-6)⁶ » ±X = ±(X-6) therefore we have four possible roots, (1) +X = +(X-6) » undefined (2) +X = -(X-6) » 2X = 6 » X = 3 (3) -X = +(X-6) » -2X = -6 » X = 3 (4) -X = -(X-6) » undefined hence, X = 3

We have x to the power of 6 , so we must have 6 solutions!
