seing that you are using a calculator at the end why waste lots of time when the easy way to find x is (log 48) divided by (Log 8) = 1.861654?

Why not just leave it in logarithm form and say 1 +1/3 + log2(3)/3. Sorry couldn’t figure out how to convey 4/3 on a single line as 1 and 1/3 in simplest form.
