I've had a really nice 4 days, with my new Pokémon game out, a new group I joined and really vibe with, and everything looks a bit nicer with Oli back at school full time and other bits and bobs. It feels like vlog moods flow up and down like tides but it's nice when the tide is up!

Oh dear, going away is never easy for us we try our best to get organised but you never know what will happen. Getting in to queues, sensory overload, and food issues are the hardest I think as well as change of routine. We all need to get away at some point after the past 2 years we had and I agree with you it is hard work.

For holiday, why not look at an area, pick things kids can do in that area and talk to them what they like to do off the list, the best ones you will do on a few days and then find a house of something similar to stay in while there and then you all be happy, as some activates or place to see group tickets together, so if you say look at place to stay and then look at things to do and then once kids select the things to do, you and your good lady can then plan whole holiday so everyone gets the best from it, there maybe things the boys do with you and the ladies of the family do there thing while you are doing yours, so then it keeps everyone happy while away and relaxed, knowing your all getting to do thing you like and also getting enjoyment

First and last days of holidays for me are always a nightmare, and honestly I don't have any ideas other than maybe rent an AirBnB in a city where there's stuff to do? That way you aren't forced to get out of the house at all, really. I'm actually heading to Winchester in late February to visit my cousin, staying for 5 days and really excited about it. She has her own struggles and is neurodivergent as well, which honestly means we understand each other a lot more than if I were to go on holiday with say my sisters. We're arranging to get her as close to the gate as possible for when I arrive at Heathrow, having a meet and assist person come and guide us through the airport, and getting the hidden disability lanyard as quickly as possible. We've got some general plans on what to do (me being Norwegian and also being quite strange, I am really excited to head to supermarkets like Tesco and Sainsbury's, but we're also planning to have a day in Southampton as well as at a zoo.) Allowing for lots of downtime and always having a way out of things has helped me massively, when it comes to everything.

I love visiting supermarkets in other countries!! It is so fun. I seriously love it. I imagine we will do Zoo / Beach / Theme Park. It feels like the same things every time for us haha. Kid holidays I guess.

@@SheepdogSays Kid holidays can be fun though! Go to a place that has some stuff that interests you and you’re set. Either that or just make sure they got a nice place to eat where you can get your favourite food

Could your sleep problem be linked to your thyroid.

Maybe, I think it’s a combo deal. Anxiety, autism, thyroid, bad sleep practice, caffeine etc. really hoping my time off fixes me haha.

My boy can do things better verbally. He has trouble getting it on paper. He hates writing but loves math.

You’ve just reminded me to ask whether he could dictaphone his learning. It feels like he’d do well at that.

@Sheepdog Says my boy can do his spellings better verbally than written down. Obviously he has to write them down at test. But by then he has them imprinted on his memory.
