A NIGHT AT THE OPERA A TRIBUTE TO QUEEN 

I am a VERY harsh critic of tribute bands, so when I say this, I mean it......these guys and gals are absolutely brilliant in their presentation of the wonderful music created by Queen. They are, by far, the finest Queen interpreters and one of, if not THE BEST tribute bands I've ever heard. Just incredible.

Amazing. What a voice. Johan Boding is great singer who resembles the young Freddie's voice of the 70's. This production shows the "art rock" side of QUEEN that made QUEEN's music timeless and immortal!

So great performance and 64 likes for four years! So underrated...

It’s fun to remember that Queen did all this with just four members, no synthesisers, a couple of tape loops and overdubs for the extra voices (but that was just for the studio album version. Having seen them several times from the mid/late 70’s onwards I am still amazed to remember that they were just as good, if not better, when in a live performance. One particular memory was when they played Roundhay Park, Leeds, West Riding of Yorkshire around 80/82 (?) but memory is a bit stuffed up by the morphine pump going off (but it’s great for Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd, so it has extra uses beyond its original intent and I’m forever grateful to those that designed it). If there is an afterlife, statistically/scientifically unlikely let alone remotely believable or plausible, then sign me up if it means I get to see Freddy, Bonn Scott, Malcolm Young, Keith Moon, David Bowie, Glenn Frey, and all those amazing entertainers that have died in the last 50 years or so. It would be a show of epic, mind blowing proportions and worth dying for even a few weeks sooner than my current “expiry date” or “best before……date”. There’s only so much useable morphine and fentanyl before it doesn’t work so well, and even the nails holding me to my perch (Monty Python- Dead Parrot sketch) are working loose and there’s nothing left to stop the inevitable. At least I’ll get to have a nice lie in each morning!
