I'm a guard and I watched this during my night shift at a landscapers storage lot. I also do night shifts at an Enterprise, and the instructions are pretty similar to this game, though it's with people going out. They don't really care much who goes in mostly, just make sure they don't make off with company cars. Edit: Even the booth is similar to ours, though we have no computer, but DO have an AC and microwave. Can't use both at once though, or it'll trip the breaker to the booth AND gate. Edit 2: I'm actually rewatching this again and there are a LOT of similarities. The employees in game are just as rude as irl until we started reporting them to management, quite a few got fired. Also, messing around on the internet during shift is common for graveyard guards. A large amount of grave shifts are very quiet and boring.
Technically it was a full-game, but people just asked for more, so I paused my other horror product and moved on with a longer version of the game with more lore!
If you think about it: there's this guy during the cold war named Stanislav Petrov. He worked in a facility that detected nuclear strikes..1983 it had a false alarm and he didn't do anything. 1 person saving the world by not doing anything.
My theory is that the place you are the guard for has opened a portal to the void/land of the dead. That's why there was ghosts at your place compared to places like Medusa which was an ice thing. It's also why people heard different things, all relating to someone they knew who passed away. The notes also mention the void being a bridge to something worse which could explain the rifts in the sky ending. The stranger(guy in blue car) ending could have been Death itself trying to destroy the void/gateway to the afterlife.
Yeah, I'm also convinced on that theory of yours. It's like they have discovered a way to the spirit world or something. It's also one way of saying that science has finally uncovered the mystery what it used to be paranormal
Imagine like many people, maybe even most, play this game, get the "Boring" endings and stop playeing because they think that's it - never realizing how much deeper the game goes and that most of it is hidden behind a special ending. This game is so good. It's interesting and versatile. At first you're playing a person in a booth, who just allow or reject people at the entrance and you think "that's the game". But then you suddenly enter other worlds, explore areas, completely different theme - like a completely new game with much more lore. Good games don't need pretty graphics or crazy physics / controls.
It’s so nice to see and brings me joy that you playing games with nearly no playerbase and thanks to you, developers are constantly making those games better! Much love insym! You are really making the youtube and gaming community a better place❤️
@13:37 insym was so immersed in his security guard role that he forgot he was playing a horror game asking who opened the door when theres no one there LOL
I think there's still an ending missing that was in the demo. There's the car falling on you, unless it was removed. As for the reversed call, the person who was trapped was Natasha, and it was basically a recording of what happened to her. It wasn't a real-time call.
@@KyleHorwood ahh, ok. I thought so. I figured he would've gotten it easily if it had still been in. Makes sense, since there is a lot more lore in the rest of the game now. The ending is missing, just from the game and that's ok. It's great anyways. Thanks for the confirmation.
Hearing about Pandemic Legacy just reminded me about da old days of 2014, friends and I meeting up every couple weeks to play Risk Legacy, same developer, same premise, put stickers on the board to alter the world forever stuff. It was so fun xD
I almost didn't watch this because I've seen this game before but didn't know it was the demo. So happy that I actually watched this and saw how much more in depth the full game is!
I was a big fan of yours long time ago, when you were like 10k(?). Idk, i dont remember tbh. My dream was getting Phasmophobia. Well i was a kid and i was very nervous to ask my parents. I have it now and i love it. I feel happy i found your channel again, you were and still are my favorite Phasmophobia RU-vidr.
Any chance I could convince you to play Outer Wilds on stream? It's not quite horror but there are some spooky bits, and the DLC has a lot of horror in it. I think you might like it!
So, there is what looks like blood splattered on the green car on the right at 1:12:06 and my first thought was, "Hey, is that one of the cars Insym was hit by in the beginning? Lol
Nice video. Good to that Insym showcases other games as well. It would be a lot more enjoyable and less immersion-breaking if I didn't get ads every several minutes though!
Same here, I love to settle in with a good cup of (insert warm beverage of your choice) late at night and watch him play the slower story-focused games like this one. I wish he did more of them!
He done the same, with one of the fnaf fan game, where he needed to take care of 3 anibiotics to not get in at the same time to his room. It was a bit annoying part of the game,so Insym used the speedhacking there too :)
