he (112) presents a good documentary. miss it every single day and (hour). i lived in Pattaya. maybe cambodia next. the serenity the sweet and kind women. like not "other" place. would sit a "beer" bar and speak for hours and many LD/and just to think in the "evening" we would be hidden away in our (my) hotel room. no 'issues"/honest, respectfully never "a" problem. take her shopping and lunch next day. my cousin lives in siem reap (retired military) and enjoys/loves it. last year; goes to the US (tampa) for a month. -gets pulled over twice (2) and spoken to like a child from a 21yoa female officer for 39 in a 35mph since "women" are the only gender that are "empowered" today and forward. she cut him "a" break that day and no ticket. how "nice" and lucky he was in the nation he defended for 25yrs. in the US military. -a parking ticket (downtown) -goes to a coffee shop a 250lb female with a "BLM" shirt on was nice and sweet to the couple in front of him ordering coffee "can i take your order". he is up next: "what do you want" with 'da attitude of "owe" me. no 30 days...19 days in the US. got on a flight back to Cambodia. not a foot/Asiaa "massage" and forgot the name of the "nation" he just flew out and from...

I really enjoyed this vlog thank you. It looks like Phnom Penh has changed beyond all my recollections since 2004 when I was there last. I took a boat from Siem Riep to get there. The journey took 13 hours as the river, Tonle Sap, had evaporated so much due to the insane heat (44 degs) in March, and the boat kept grounding on the bottom so we had to get towed-off every 15 mins! Mind you it didn't help that there were 150 people on-board plus their luggage on a boat that was supposed to carry 80. I'm with you on the traffic mate, I can spend hours watching it as I frequently do in Bangkok, it fascinates me. Hope you got back to Thailand(?) ok.

Congrats on hitting 600K subscribers! Just got back from an amazing 2 weeks in Thailand myself. Yeah, those unmarked busy intersections can be described as choreographed chaos, and are definitely mesmerizing. How do prices for massages compare between Thailand and Cambodia, and has the "soapy" caught on in Cambodia yet? Thanks again for a great video and all of your hard work. Cheers!

Another great vlog installment - excellent work and great info!! I found that interesting, that you "still regret to this day" having gone to the Killing FIelds and the museum... can I ask why? Was it because of the sheer inhuman act that took place, or was it that it was a poor display, not well suited to non-Cambodian speakers? Appreciate all that you do here on your channel.... safe travels.

Most Khmer`s born after the 80`s have little or no knowledge about these places as it not taught or spoken about , it can be gut wrenching if you have knowledge about the khmer rouge period , in s21 no words can describe what the poor souls endured during the period its been left as its stands as a reminder of their past , i filmed in there but was taken aback by what i saw , it is very graffic but so real very little gory stuff but real human suffering , some who visit regret it but its part of history and so real , hope this helps ...

Totally agree with you! Given the fact it is a third world country, people do their best to give the best service to expats and sometimes expats coming from powerful countries complain about the conditions just because the conditions are not as they're used to back in their home country, thats literally absurd.... And I legit, people from 3rd world are nicer to expats than the customer service received in their home country.

Cool and also different a bit from Pattaya. Also it's safe to say (don't be mad) that you are an alcoholic. Every video you drink and having hang over etc. I bet not 1 day you go without at least 1 beer. That makes you alcoholic. Not drunk who pissing him self, nor social or casual drinker and also not a hard and heavy drinker but in 5 years I wonder when you starting to develop a symptoms that is no turning back from like liver kidney failure an other alcohol related sickness. But hey on the bright side Cheers only I cheer you with a bottle of water or a coffee cause that is all I drink. May be less then a 6pac I drink in a year. Including birthdays and new year or any other celebratory days. Just saying, not to be mean cause I love what you do. lol.
