I can't begin to imagine half of what's being unearthed down there. Will Metrolinx display some of the artifacts in the new concourse on a permanent basis? That would be cool. N.b: Crosse and Blackwell, the makers of that anchovy paste, had their corporate offices at Lakeshore and Bathurst, and still stands today (formerly the home of CFMT-TV). That find is a very cool connection between Toronto and England while digging up for a railroad.
0:22 This perfectly illustrates just how much landfill the current waterfront is made up of. You can see the Toronto Harbour Commission Building (flanked by 2 warehouses on either side) sitting right on the waterfront, but today, it's 350m from the shoreline at 60 Harbour St.
