The Angry Whammy! I like that too! Not only was there no money or prizes, but the Whammy was landed on the VERY FIRST SPIN of the round! There's was no way even the Whammy would be ready THAT soon, hence his frustration!
A new rule was added last June, indicating that whoever was left after two players have whammied out automatically advanced to bonus round. That player no longer got to play against the house.
Huh, what an odd rule! Playing against the house was a unique and rare moment back in the original run. Though, I’m guessing having the board all to yourself is exactly what the bonus round is anyway.
I noticed that with another whammy in a different episode and thought it was a new animation effect they did for the whammy. Turns out it’s just a glitch.
All I can say is: Wow. Just wow. All the excitement from last night's spin-fest _had_ to come crashing down sooner or later. But hey, it's not that everybody had a rough time tonight; they just had rough *timing.*
If I was on Press Your Luck, I would try to not hit a Whammy and become a millionaire. What I would also love is to win a trip to Japan which would also include a VIP access to one of their anime conventions, clothing from different luxury brands (including Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Ferragamo, Chanel, Fendi, etc.), a magical Disney vacation, a trip to South Korea with front seat tickets to a K-Pop concert, concert tickets and a backstage pass to see one of my favorite music artists, ice cream for a year, tickets to a WNBA game, a trip to Las Vegas, video games for life, mall shopping spree for a year, and a Hawaiian vacation. That's a lot of personalized prizes if I get a chance to go to the bonus round. I don't want the Whammy taking my prizes!
