the harsh reality of general apathy towards animals in need is staggering, unfortunately and we have to rely on a few good ones who take matters into their own hands, thank you so much for doing this, the kitty desparately needed help and you're his/her angel!
This is what I find a bit suspect, a cat in that state would of been on the streets alone for a long time but she seemed very relaxed around humans, almost like she knew the rescuer and "vet"
@@AL-ud2is take my cat to the vet regularly because he has leukemia, and his behavior in environments he's unfamiliar with is considerably better than when he's at home.
Obviously a pet prior to time on the street. Maybe a bill estimate from a vet regarding treatment of nerve issue overwhelmed the owner, and then they couldn't bring themselves to euthanize a kitten? Pleas for help with pet bills from 20 somethings are becoming a regular occurrence on the site Nextdoor.
@@AL-ud2isthat's what's iffy to me as well. The cat is too comfortable especially holding thr guys arm at the vet. I hope this isint those "hurt my animal and make a video for likes " thing 😅
A lot of RU-vid channels that have content like this deliberately hurt/injure the animal so they have something to record and pray on other's empathies and share it for views and make ad revenue off it or get donations. Not saying this is 100% the case here but if people want to help animals that are severely hurt their immediate reaction wouldn't be to wait to get their camera and press record but help without others knowing/watching. Just something to think about instead of donating here would be much smarter to actually donate it to actual animal rescue charities.

Yes, it takes a lot to truly move me these days but this did. The way she put her paw on the person's arm during the medical inspection was so beautiful. As I type this, my little lady is sat on the arm of the chair beside me. I took her in after a couple of years of her visiting, I had no idea that she'd been living outdoors for years. Now, she is the happiest cat and a wonderful bedfellow 🐱
@@d2vmusic I have my "Paloma" next to me too as I type. She is 13 years old and I originally rescued her and her brother (called "Perry") but unfortunately Perry was hit and killed on the road one morning. I keep her indoors now, she is loved and given lots of places to go. She has toys and all she could need and most importantly is safe. She is my rock. I'm a 36 year old guy who works as a mechanic and competes in amateur boxing. I might be 18 stone and 6"4 but I cuddle her and kiss her like a baby. 🤣
@@danielmorris6523 Aww, give her a cuddle from me. I'm 58 now, I've had 8 cats so far of which 6 were rescues/mercy adoptions. Kitty (my little lady) is 10 years old but may be older as her papers state a birthday of 01.01.13, my little man Keith (I didn't name him but it's a great name!) is 10 in three days. The others have all passed on over time but are still fondly remembered. I'm 17 stone and 6' 2" and I talk to mine as if they were my children, so you're not alone! 😀
@@d2vmusic Aww that sounds lovely and you won't believe me but my Dad is called Keith haha. When you lose cat buddies it's so difficult so it's why I try and make sure every day matters with my Paloma especially when she is 13 years old now. I had another cat called Spyder who was a Maine Coon, I don't know if you are familiar with that breed? They are known as gentle giants and are pretty much considered the feline equivalent of the Great Dane; big and intimidating to those who fear cats but just a giant teddy bear who would always be next to me if I was at home. Unfortunately he was poisoned by a neighbour with antifreeze in 2017 and I had to go to the vet and ease his suffering. I believe I'll see him again one day and it'll be like old times! Poor sweet kitten which is paralyzèď!! Such a cute, adorable little fur baby❤❤!! I wish that I could adopt you, however I live in an apartment & they only allow each tenant to have only 1 cat or 1 dog. I have 2 cats but that's only because they are therapy cats. They help me with my severe depressìon & anxiety issues. Ì thank God everyday that I have them in my ĺife!! I wish that I could get 1 more cat as I would definitely take the😅 one who is paralyzed.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤....ì wish I lived on a farm so I could give all the homeless cats in the world & give them a warm place to live

Her cry was so soft, loving and gentle. These videos make me love on my fur babies even more. I can’t imagine anyone hurting them or leaving them behind.
@@zzodysseuszz you make a very valid statement. And definitely something to think about. I’ve only experienced something traumatic with animals once. I was driving my children to school and someone threw a box of kittens out of the window into traffic as the lights changed. It was the awful. Something I wish I had never seen! But I do always wonder how these people know where all these animals are. He could very well be like man with kittens.

Sometimes I find myself feeling like am the only person trying to care for abandoned and abused cats in my city. Watching videos like yours helps me feel like I am not so alone in this fight.
@@Zephal42 That's true but sometimes people can't take them in due to allergies, not at home etc.. so we use Facebook to find homes for the ones we rescue and we love all those who feed and rescue.
@@Zephal42 I don't like to see animals like this. But i would not want a cat in my home. I think it's disgusting to have animals in your apartment. If i were to have a cat og a dog, i would need to live in the countryside. Domesticated animals don't belong in the cities.
I couldn't stop crying while watching this poor cat. I rescued a cat with a paralyzed leg before.The vet said he is lucky enough to make a week since his leg was fully inflamed and dripping with fluid. What he didn't know was that this guy has a extremely strong soul. He overcame and seduced me enough to adopt him. Now we have been together for 8 years. They are praying on your empathy hoping you donate and collect ad revenue, most of these channels are deliberately hurting these animals for content. If I saw an animal this severely wounded my initial reaction wouldn't be to go find a camera and click record. Instead of donating to these types of channels which most likely are scams you should donate to your nearest animal rescue clinic instead.

It looks like she was run over by a car and dragged her poor little self onto the sidewalk, and the driver kept going or didn't see her. Then, she was ignored by pedestrians until you came along - thank God! All the best to you and your new rescued kitty!

Thanks to all who gave help to this suffering kitty. I can't believe how many people can just pass by a suffering animal like this. I could never pass up an animal in need if there was something I could do to help. I pray that this kitty gets back the use of his legs and gets back to normal.

I cannot thank you enough for picking her up. My heart breaks for these poor animals. There are so many that suffer sooo intensely that it is too vast a job for one person to do, but if someone, like this angel who picked her up, would just be there to help, it would lighten the burden on the animal rescuers, who have their hands full. It's fake - who on earth sees a cat in distress and their first thought is to pan a perfect shot with their phone and then stick it on the internet?! Look at the user's videos, they're all distressed animals, likely passed from one person to another for "rescue" videos. None of them ever get rescued...
