Dude, i loved the story so much! Ive been jonezing for more of the search and rescue kindof stuff but the trees man, been hoping i could find somthing like this for so long love the idea, whatever the unknown truth is supposed to be.

@@SpiderkillersInc Ha, that's actually quite clever and a nice play on the whole, "I've seen this tree too many times" phrase in stories where people get lost in the woods. Although I'm quite curious, is it all tree's? Or perhaps just some that are beings or tree's "possessed" by demons.

@@PacoFTW Mentioning the lonely broadcast station is quoting creepypasta, but the stairs are no joke. I found a set once that weren't there the next day. It felt like some massive predator instead of stairs, and there was a strange static charge around them

My grandmother taught me how to identify ellm trees for the expressed porpoise of never climbing one. Ellms hate humans, she said. In reality there branches just snap without warning so it's realy easy to fall and break your neck, but it stuck. I'm a gardener now, funnily enough, and I'm still irrationally weary, when pruning an ellm.

I was afraid of monkey puzzle trees as a kid because of a story I heard that the branches cut up monkeys, and that's how they got the name, and that theyll do the same to kids.

There should be some lumberjack stories, being in the woods up in the Pacific Northwest is spooky AF. Way spookier then the 10,000 stories set in suburbs or old inner city buildings

Park ranger, camping, outdoor, most of hunting stories are hands down my favorite!! Mainly since I'm a hardcore Michigan outdoorsman, and it just makes the my curiosities heighten when I'm in the woods myself!! You have find more stories like these!

See what’s horrifying but true is that trees do move. What’s even scarier is that I learned about this today. If you look up living swamps you’ll learn that trees move continuously in the marsh land. It’s scary and ironic.

I'm pretty sure we have about two hundred billion stars in the Milky Way. One of the top Google searches says that in April of 2017 we had over three TRILLION trees on earth. There are around three hundred fifty million or so people in the United States I believe. So there're some numbers for ya. I've got lots of petrified wood. So I know we have fossilized trees. Adventure time did a great job displaying what I feel like a plant feels like in the episode, "Food Chain".

There are more stars in the *entire universe* than grains of sand.on Earth. There are not more stars in our *single galaxy* than there are grains of sand on Earth. In our galaxy, the Milky Way, there are around 200 billion stars. So, there very well could be more trees on Earth than stars in the Milky Way.

I feel like this would’ve been a lot more impactful if the author had included the fact that Roots exist. Like even the ground rippling or something would’ve had a much better effect than the idea that they’re just like...sitting on top of the ground.
