I took an English novel course at Seoul National University graduate school in 1973. I read this great novel, "A Passage to India," and got an A grade point. My professor was Dear Baengnakchung.
I'm on a quest to read 'great novels" . . . I got through about 70 pages of this dog. I'd rather stick a fork in my eye than read further. Call me a Philistine if you like, but this novel is awful.
Agreed ! I’ve had several gos as well . But watching the David Lean does help a bit ! Probably was of far greater interest to readers back in the 1920s when it was first published.
