{Jill here} Yes...I also love vintage campers but had not seen too many until this tour. It was like stepping back in time! We loved doing this video. Thanks for your interest.
WOW... I'm taking my Vintage Tiny Travel Trailer to ABQ New Mexico soon!!! When this video first started... I thought... (hum... that looks like New Mexico... and You are in ABQ... I am finishing up my restoration on my 50 year old Travel Trailer. My Kids/grand kids live in ABQ. I will be reopening my Acting Studio once I move back to ABQ. This is a GREAT video... Thank you so much for sharing this.
That's awesome, Judi! We would love to see pictures when you're done. Also, opening an acting studio in ABQ is a great idea since so many movies and TV shows get made there. When we were at the Enchanted Trails RV park, there was a film crew wrapping up a scene for a movie with Ewan McGregor. We didn't see him at all just a bunch of cars and trailers but it was still cool to see. Good luck!
@@MarcusandJillsHappyTrails WOW... That is so COOL... I really enjoyed your video... I have "Flipped" 17 RVs and Travel Trailers... The Spartan is one of my favorites... and YES I had the Pink Bathtub and Pick Sink... Since I watched your video the other day... I am going to go a STEP UP.... I have decided to make my 1972 Vintage Travel Trailer into a FOOD Concession Trailer... Since I have to completely redo the Electricity in this one... my electrician said it would make a great Food Trailer... WELL.. that will be great, because I can use it at my Acting Studio... I always have FOOD with Acting (secretly I want to do a Mystery Dinner Theatre... Good Gosh ... if I do everything I want to do... I'll be..... ..... So Tired... LOL Na, truthfully, we have already done this on a smaller scale, and loved it... Acting on Stage Serving Food with the Acting... & Mystery Theatre (just add dinner)... LOL Where, what part of ABQ was this RV at??? (Bad English)... Where was this RV park?
I grew up in the carnival business and when I was young we had a Spartan mansion with 2 bedrooms, and I think it was 8'6" wide and we pulled it with a Buick roadmaster wagon which almost had as much room as the trailer
Even if they aren't so energy efficient at least they don't end up in "landfill's every ten years" like they do now. Back then they made stuff that lasted a long long time! These are so fun.
That huge trailer literally looked like a house inside.Everything was originally set up to resemble a house.Todays innovation is no different than the past.
We didn't want to show the entire camper because we felt like it would spoil it for those who stay at the Enchanted Trails Campground. I would suggest booking a stay there if you want to see the entire camper.
Thanks for the feedback. We'll upload some captions for this video and will work on creating a better balance between the music and the voices in the future.
We had permission from the owner to go in and experience the campers. Touching is part of that experience. All of those campers used to be available to rent so people stayed in them and touched the things inside them all the time.
