Wow! Totally basic truth, yet somehow not widely understood by members of Christ's body. I realized while listening that the people who have a hard time with getting over offense tend to hold grudges against themselves. Not letting go of offenses basically leads to shame and shame keeps us away from Our Father.
While I totally enjoyed this message, I am compelled to say that there is no such thing as SELF forgiveness... what happens is you don't receive forgiveness that God has given you. You are trying to, but there is no revelation that He has given it to you.... so you continue to FEEL like you are not forgiven and go back and forth until you finally receive. SELF is the problem... you keep wanting to improve it.
