Having lost my son almost 12 years ago, this was hands down my most powerful, beautiful moment in TV history.

Such a touching scene. Love this moment between Monica and John, the show has gone long enough without a comforting moment between her and her father in-law, it was sweet. Shows that despite all the crap his kids give him, when they need him John will always be there. And I think this scene will help a lot of mothers who had just gone through losing a baby.

I wasn't ready for John to say those words. What beautiful words to say to try and comfort someone who lost a child. 🥰🥰

This show was playing in the background at work. I don't watch Yellowstone but I did just recently lose a pregnancy due to unfortunate circumstances. I saw the scene where she sobs on the floor and teared up because i can relate. But, this scene....this scene made my heart twist and had me crying. These were the words I needed to hear. Loved that moment between John and Monica. My heart hurts for Poor Kayce and Monica. They deserve happiness for their little family. Wish the baby hadn’t died. Kudos to Kelsey Asbille who has been doing an amazing job and Luke Grimes as well.

I cannot imagine losing a child. No one in my family does and to a major degree I am grateful we don’t know that feeling. However I do know the feeling is loss, grief. I know it hits you like a freight train or an 18 wheeler hitting you mentally even physically at times. Some people try to adjust like it never happened or it just overtakes you all the time. That grief is really love with nowhere to go. This scene shows the good comfort he gave to her. That was something she needed and John gave that to her. Thanks for uploading.

I thought this scene was beautiful. I love the fact that John can be tough and harsh one minute and then tender and philosophical the next. Great writing. Great show.

My son died at the age of 17. It was 9 years ago…he lived a perfect life. I hope he knew I loved him very much. But I miss him horribly and still missing. Thank you Yellowstone for having this moment - it is very powerful and emotional acting episode

My sister just lost her newborn yesterday, two days after his birth. We had hope that he would pull through his ordeal, but it was not to be. The entire family is devastated. My brother shared this perfect clip and it brings some comfort to us, knowing that he did indeed have a perfect life and only knew love for the instant that he was on this planet. Hold your children close, because they are a blessing. There is no pain like this.

All that he saw on this planet was you and all he knew was that you loved him. He led a perfect life." That's the Best!!!!! 🙌💜 That helped even 10 and 20 years later after my losses. 🙏

I don't know why Monica gets so much hate from some people. She's a genuinely a kind and humane woman.

I am glad they are giving Monica a bit of a redemption arc, Monica was always so selfish in her marriage to Casey, it was always about her and no matter what he did for her and her child she refused to give John a break until now. I really really disliked Monica until now.

Being a Widower or Widow. This scene hits hard. Can't imagine losing a child. I'm a widower.

Men don't open up much - it's part of being a man in the real world. So when moments like this present itself it makes it so much more powerful and meaning ful. This isn't to say it a woman can't say some thing powerful or meaningful. It's just hits a bit deeper and harder from a man. My Dad and I had a moment similar to this before he dies. His words and emotions burnt an everlasting trait into me that I am so grateful I can share with my family for the last 20 years.

I stumbled on this video that I had bookmarked. Saw Lioness last night. In the past, I wondered if Taylor could only write westerns. Last night's Lioness with the father (a doctor), daughter in car wreck and more (no spoilers) and Jo... wow. Too big to be angry?! I wish I was able to think like that / speak like that. Honestly she should blame herself, she didn't have to get in the car, she put herself and her children in danger for absolutely no reason when she could've have just waited for an ambulance or called someone else. Her son could've died, she could've died too and her baby did die because of her reckless stupidity.
