@@edwardwood6532 I'm not going to jump down your throat like @Katrina S did [which by the way Katrina, you could try to be a bit more understanding of people's lack of knowledge/unfamiliarity with things & try to explain things a bit instead of just criticizing them.] 1) Just to clear up one thing off the bat to make things simpler going forward, from my understanding [which I think is right, but anyone can correct me if it isn't,] the when referring to trans people I'm fairly certain that you use "trans [insert gender they identify as]." So, that story you are talking about Fallon Fox would be a trans woman. 2) While I don't really care about sports or really watch any of them, I agree that if a sport has divisions that are gendered because of there being a performance difference between the genders then unless there is something that trans women & trans men can do that will alter their advantages/disadvantages of their birth sex to make them within the range of their gender identity then they just have to compete in the division(s) that align with their birth sex. Both, trans women & trans men... not just trans women. However, if there is something that can do this, then as long as they meet whatever conditions that something include then they should be able to compete in the division that matches their gender identity. Would you consider that a fair arrangement?

Indeed. The problem here in the UK is the mainstream media is still too dominant, there aren't any UK equivalents of chapo, or even TYT, David Pakman imo, or other progressive journalists. There's some UK left tubers but they're kind of obscure or focus too much on culture wars rather than class analysis. I guess it's the result of the USA being so polarised, their left wing has become energised by the rise of trump etc. Our left wing has become atrophied due to years of complacent centrists/liberals.

@@HarryS77 "They are literally teaching kids how to be trans-accepting and anti-racist in college" sounds like a reactionary take, it sounds like something a parent would say to justify homeschooling their kids. I'm not saying those positions are reactionary, but the belief that it's something that is literally taught by college, whereas through my experience that wasn't the case at all (UK unis are typically quite antiquated on social issues, being led by the studio union).
